I didn't know there was another one SOS mission in this game. Especially for Week 4, where all additional safehouses are starting to get locked one by one. Thanks for clarification! Kinda sad that this thing wasn't patched in vanilla game, and we need to restore it with mods.

Waru: I'm sick of seeing us treated this way, and for what? What's the end game? Crews in blackridge who are literally fighting the cops to keep the underground scene running: first time? Even rocky was surprised with the chaos if you fail the unbound event
@riceball5215 күн бұрын
If you wanna go that way I’ll give you an even better example: The Rockport Blacklist which consists of 15 racers who are considered a high priority by the cops with a placement based on the bounty each racer has and encourages fighting the police in order to move up ranks: first time? And trust me, the amount of destruction you must cause to achieve the bounty required to challenge a Blacklist racer is ridiculously high, and cops are ridiculously brutal, not like in No Limits where they’re barely an inconvenience. If Rocky thought Blackridge was chaotic then he’ll probably think Rockport is hell on Earth.

@@civicrider5556 I have played no Limits for a loooooong time, while the cops are heavily mentioned in the plot they aren’t really that hardcore in gameplay. I get though, mobile game, it has limitations.

"Closing a safehouse? On what authority?!" I dunno, maybe the fact it's being used to facilitate criminals?

I almost like the dialogue in this one - almost. I wish the racers acknowledged they're real criminals and adrenaline junkies. Sure, they can talk about loyality to the racing community too, but they should avoid calling it a "community" as if they were doing a political speech while street racers aren't even a political group. Also, we all hear about "the corruption" but never hear about anything other than street racers getting arrested on seemingly legit charges. Maybe if we heard about unlawful arrests or selling out to corpos or mafias, then maybe I'll buy it.

@@My0ldFr13nd My point exactly, these kids try to act like they’re some kind of justice warriors or an oppressed minority when in reality they’re just criminals who endanger the lives of others and are completely in the wrong. The game would have felt a lot better if the local racers were aware of this, and if they would complain about the cops it would be due to the high pressure they’re put under rather than supposed corruption.

It's the overused stupid "Cops r bad, street racer good" story that I'm really tired of seeing ever since Heat Like It's a shame, since I kind of liked Unbound's story more than Heat, but I feel like it would've been better if they acknowledge that they are real criminals and there will be real consequences for their actions, instead of pretending they are innocent It just makes every single racer characters look delusional and entitled, I would get it if some of them are like that since there's still idiots who believe in what they're saying, but it's portrayed as something we should also agree with which is just dumb Like they forgot that older NFS games, hell even 2015 and I guess Payback, did portray you as the bad guy, you are the outlaw, the one who defies the law of the road just for the glory of racing, I guess except for Undercover, but then again you still endanger so many lives as an undercover cop so it doesn't matter anyways, or the Most Wanted guy which in that case you're just a terrorist at that point

This seems like the best racer in trouble mission in the game. You learn more about the story, the racer and get a good dialogue to listen to, not some real world political bullshit, just normal human dialogue. And it's cut off.

“I’m sick of us being treated that way” Come on, you and the rest of the Lakeshore posers are endangering the general population and yourselves by street racing. Man, I REALLY hate these new racers, not only do they not look and act the part, but also are doing bad things and being like “ugh, I didn’t do anything wrong, I’m the victim”. I miss the previous games in which the racers knew they were in the wrong.

@ I don’t recall the Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover racers ever complaining about the cops, in fact, in MW the whole idea of the Blacklist consisted of getting a high notoriety, which encourages fighting the cops to move up in the ranks. In Undercover you play as a cop and infiltrate gangs who are aware they’re doing bad things and try to avoid cops, but they never claim they’re treated unfairly by them. In Heat they were also aware they were up to no good and said things like “if you’re going to get into trouble don’t get caught”, showing awareness that what they’re doing isn’t exactly legal. So no, the previous games weren’t anything like this at all.

@@Cr1ng3neer Yeah, but they weren’t acting like “oh, the police are bad, we aren’t doing anything wrong”, they just raised hell and didn’t complain, Razor does start to feel pressured as you move up and races start getting busted before they start, but he never claims that the police are going too far, he’s just feeling cornered. As for Heat, well, they complained about their impounds, but it’s because they didn’t really follow the standard procedure, when Ana’s Z gets taken Shaw also demands her key, which doesn’t normally happen in a regular impound not to mention the cars were actually being sold by Mercer. Other than that, I would have had no issues with the cops impounding the cars, it would have made for a good threat to make racers stick to the Showdown races.
