If you can get in the right area you can also watch the Apache's doing live fire on targets. The best time is during their finals. I worked/lived (almost sometimes) in the back of the Woka’s for many years. I always found the unique blade beat hypnotic, which got me into a zone, that made me work in a unique way, I just can’t do in civi-life. Maybe it’s because it’s less dangerous & exciting in the real world, maybe it’s because people don’t realise what the few have to do to keep the country safe, so they can moan about trivial things. Either way, I miss the sound, smell, even the decision making, though not all were good ones. It’s hard when you can only watch on KZbin… Nevertheless, 60 years later, and she is still ugly, but nothing comes close to being able to replace her. She is magnificent, and saved thousands of lives, both in combat, humanitarian, & “You” viewers, who haven’t a clue about 99% of the terror plots that are ‘neutralised’, before they reach your town. @@kaasmeester5903 I think that is a smart call...choosing for a strong air branch is better than investing in tanks.
