If you're with your woman and there's choice to get engaged in and probably escalate a violent situation, then by all means do not engage, avoid and seek safety at all cost. What he did by re routing his car and picking up his gun, absolutely irresponsible behavior out of angst. Would never do and would never suggest even when you're alone. He forgot the vulnerable situation he is in by default by having womam on his side, he did not care and went in for revenge. That was not good at all!

Mom dad and me travel a lot by car. I remember mom and me had seen this movie and during one such trip, just like this guy dad did not listen to us and was like I know the way..... (men 🙄) It's night time and we are on a long ass road and it's empty there are no restaurants or hotels coming up and mom is saying again and again that something is weird.... I remembered we had just installed GPS in the car so I opened the screen and on the screen it was written "NH10" THE WAY MOM AND ME SCREAMED AND I STARTED CRYING LOUDLY BEGGING DAD TO TURN AROUND. MOM THREATENED HIM AND HE TURNED AROUND FINALLY and we showed him the movie when we reached back home. Will never forget how scary even the road is.....

Years after watching this movie I still feel Arjun at least stood up for someone helpless. I wish he was a little more smart about it but still he showed humanity even though it cost him his life.

Yeah, initially I thought it was cool that he stood up for them, but him going back and chasing them down because his ego was bruised, was taking it too far. We saw how that ended 😬

Idk think so. It's his immaturity that is being highlighted here. He is being impractical. Infact, it's his ego which makes him similar to the brother. As far as, the directorial comment abt the "honour killing" is concerned it is all in the male characters including the kid who says "is bua going somewhere?" When asked to fetch water for a women who is in such a bad condition. There's complete lack of sympathy for the opposite gender in that child.

Didn't like the arjun dealing of the situation. sometimes you just need to let things go which are beyond your control and your safety important in such situation when you are not stronger enough and report to police as unanonomus .. However we had situation in india where people have been robbed and killed in certain few isolated patts of India having different context altogether. Wish situation gets better at your end guys.

They were really good, like “Kireedam”, “Manichitratazhu”, “Bharatam”, “Amaram”, “Oru CBI Diary Kurippu” etc. I also request Achara to watch “Anjali”, a Tamil movie that came out in 1990.
