no ones "hating" on him. goalies like him dont sim much differently on great teams than 85 to 88 overall goalies and goalies like him might do well in the regular season but dont usually come in clutch for you in the playoffs. every time a youtuber has a goalie like this in a gm mode they only win like 1 cup. thats why its better to use that cap youre going to spend on him for another top defenseman instead. look at his performance here. he didnt play as well as he did in the regular season. that will happen most years.

I would keep Hutchings in the lineup over Mikko Lehtonen at this point. You have enough defensemen that do what Lehtonen does and Hutchings is the type of defenseman you need for a deep playoff run.

It’s tough though because this game seems to hate younger players that aren’t 85+ overall. It always seems as though a 79 overall 30 year old will always play better than the 79 or even 80 overall young player in the same role. Def like Hutchings more but playoff sim gets funky sometimes
