Ya Bortuzzo is a dirty player. He loves to crosscheck guys when they’re down on the ice and defenseless. He injured Arvidsson by doing that same thing all because the ref called a penalty on him, ironically for crosschecking. He wants to be a tough guy but instead he likes to hurt guys when they’re not looking. The guy’s a douchbag

Remember that referees don't have as much gear as players do. As a referee that looked dreadful. Taken out from your legs which hurts already then landing right on what looks like your shoulder / back, you also might get some head hitting the ground as well. Official pads are not even close to as good as player pads, I'm so curious what happened after because that definitely hurt a lot.

@@ImNotGam Yeah, considering how little armor refs have, that was hell. That's also why it's twice as painful for them when they take a puck shot, compared to the players they're basically naked. Ouch.

One time my goalie got latex out in a non contact league and I remember laying into this one kid who’s helmet fell of my gloves flew off and my hands into his face a ton I got a 1 game suspension and I met up with the kid who had broke his nose a few months later and he wanted to fight for real so the next game we did and I broke his nose again and gave him a cut lip and he ended his season
