Being an Edmonton Oilers fan, I really disliked Johnny when he played for Calgary ……because he was so good…that’s my tribute to him. So wish this wasn’t true. I hope it helps the Gaudreau family to know friends and “foes” alike share in their sorrow. My heart breaks for them.

My heart goes out to the family, friends, teammates...What an unimaginable tragedy. It is hard to find the words of comfort in the face of such a tragic loss😢 Wishing all the Loved Ones of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau courage and peace during this most difficult time. May you find comfort in loving memories, strength in the support of those who care, and hope in each new day🤞🙏❤

I notice there are more people getting killed by drunk drivers than ever before. This is getting out of control. No roads in America are ever safe regardless you're in gated, light, or high security residential community. There's always an idiot, drunk driver, wreckless drivers somewhere waiting to strike. Believe there is. Theres so much grief for the family and fans of Johnny and Matt. May you be at Peace. 😢

Deviating! That drunk driver would not want me as the parent showing up for his court dates. It would not go well for him!

All of us mourn and are greiving Johnny Hockey and Matthew's tragic deaths. We loved Gaudreau in Canada especially in Calgary where he played for 9 years. Off ice he was a wonderfu, compassionate, kind man

Such a tragedy. I’m so sad for their family- their wives, their children, and their parents. I can’t imagine what they are (all) going through.

I know this story is being covered, but IMO it’s not being covered to the extent that it should be. This is an absolute tragedy! So incredibly sad!
