Bro crosschecked Matheson 5 times in his back preventing him from getting up and somehow Matheson still got a 2 minutes for delaying the game on that play. They took Matheson out just so people can't say they favored us and here you are lol. Ehlerr's tripping penatly was textbook tripping, he slashed both blades of our player, why are you even complaining? One thing about one player tonight against the Jets: The aggressiveness of throwing the body and blocking shots from #20. Anderson's playing well and deserves the credit, Habs can't hold a two goal lead in the match, doesn't matter because Justin Barron buries the goal with 3:51 left in OT. Let's move on Thursday against the Wild.

Regarding Montreal's second goal, there obviously needs to be a rule stating that when the puck is swatted towards the net, it should be classified as a goal-cancelling infraction whenever it isn't clearly evident that the same guy's stick came in contact with the puck (i.e. prior to the stick of a team mate).

For folks who are confused about the Habs fans at the game, Montreal and Toronto were the only Canadian teams in the NHL for a very long time. Older Canadians were likely cheering for one of those teams and their kids are now cheering for them and their home team. This happens right across Canada. I would guess many of those fans will be wearing Jets sweaters for the next game.

The refs were questionable in this one against the Jets. And I was yelling at my tv when that commentator kept saying the puck rotated faster so it must have been hit with his stick. I was like dude the puck hitting the ice can make it rotate faster too, especially if the puck hits a chipped spot on the ice. There was no good evidence to overturn the call so I wasn't upset about that. But that commentary was pretty one sided like the refs.

Refs called a 2 minute penalty on Matheson for delay of the game because he got crosschecked 5 times in the back and couldn't get up. They sent him to the box so people wouldn't complain about them being in favor of Montreal but truth is, only Lowry should have been penalized lol. Pretty one sided you say huh? Or are you talking about Ehlers' penalty where he whacked both feet of the Habs player, making him trip over the stick? If anything blame your players' poor decision making skills, not the refs... 🤣

I want to like this jets team but it’s hard when Ehlers and Lowry act like such whiners at the end there. Ehlers launches himself straight into Mathersons feet and complains for some reason, then Lowry crosschecks Matherson, like, 4 times including multiple times while he was on the ground and complains even though Matherson got a penalty for not being able to get up after taking 5 shots straight to the back.

Ehlers wasn’t complaining about the tripping call, he was saying how he had to take that penalty because Anderson interferes with him, Anderson got away with blatant interference and Matheson would’ve had a clear shot at goal if it wasn’t for that trip
