shouldn’t have cut that clip off at 2:42, kuzy nearly had a tap in and vladar made a super underrated save that the broadcast didn’t even notice reaching back with his stick. two straight really good games since coming over. clearly a little fatigued as this game went on but i didn’t know what to expect from him after missing so much time and struggling all year… yet he’s flashed consistently. canes lineup looks so much more formidable with him… oh and they’re about to get jake guentzel in a couple days lmao

А ведь гнали на Токетта, что он якобы загнобил парня. Но и в Калгари дела идут не ахти. Кузьменко специфический игрок с ярко выраженными сильными (игра вблизи чужих ворот) и слабыми (нежелание вести силовую борьбу, идти в форчек, отрабатывать назад при контратаках соперника) сторонами. Либо надо его умело встраивать в игру команды, либо выстраивать игру всего звена вокруг его него. Но он не суперзвезда, чтобы под него выстраивать систему игры. Т.е. ему надо принимать требования тренеров и современного динамичного, атлетичного, скоростного хоккея, где все атакуют и все защищаются. В таком хоккее слабые стороны Кузьменко быстро вылезают наружу.

only 2 losses, Fla and Car, they beat Tampa. And those teams are #1 and #4 overall and just added players for their cup run whereas Calgary traded their #3 and #4 D as well as their #1 center two weeks ago. I'm a Flames fan and I damn near need a program to know who's wearing what number.

Calgary epitomizes mediocrity perfectly. To go from winning 6-3 impressively in Tampa Bay, to getting pounced on and scratched by Florida, then to go and get blown away by Carolina. it just speaks volumes. They're both very good and very bad, their season summed up on just one road trip.
