I was really surprised that Theodore didn't try more to take away the shot, I'm sure Fleury misread the shot and expected a shot on the glove side. Bad goal for the Knights for sure, can't give up a short-handed goal in a playoff game like that...

Funny thing was, I was just telling my sister to look out for a SHG because the guys are gassed and mistakes could happen. Hertle scored about 30 seconds later. We are sharks fans. :)

Great game, but sadly ending on what should have been a routine save for Fleury. I was hoping for a classic finishing goal to end what was a classic playoff game.

I know what you mean for sure. But in game 5 hertl beat Fleury glove side with that same shot, so Fleury came out to make the "routine save" thinking turtle was gonna go glove side. Not sure if hertl read MAF really well or just couldn't shoot far side because of the defender (I think the latter is more likely) but in any case I'm pretty sure Fleury was expecting a far side shot, leaving him just a hair out of position. Pretty sure if any player but hertl had the shorthanded breakaway and took the short side shot, Fleury would've had it. But, as a sharks fan, was I ever stoked when hertl rung that one in! Such a great series!

Not confident as a knight fan heading to a game 7. They have all the momentum and jones has completely turned it around obviously. If we lose game 7 it was deserved had 3 chances to close them out

@@robert9312 Yea, the refs didn't call any penalties in OT until the one that lead to the shorthanded goal, I think that's fair, let them play unless it's a blatant penalty to take away a scoring chance.

VG - IniquitY they weren’t really calling penalties in OT except for that 1 that they did. There were multiple trips/holds by both teams when ya watch the game

definitely, sharks were on brink of elimination, got outshot 58 to 29, and jones complitely stole the show in vegas and forced a game 7, if thats not a hatpick then im surprised.

CmonCuhh how? They had more than double the shots and double the hits the Sharks did... they outplayed them but San Jose just happened to score an easy one on their first shot of double OT (took them over 11 minutes to get a shot in that period)

Pete DeBoer said Karlsson isn't near 100% yet, and I believe it. You're totally right, he usually skates like a deer and it's extremely rare for him to directly turn the puck over. But the last few games his game's been suffering badly. I couldn't even count the amount of pucks he gave away and slow passes that got easily intercepted. He'll have to step it up in gm 7 if we want to win. Not sure if Jones can ever play like this again 😂
