I'd describe that as a solid 50 minute game. Things will work out well if they can continue to improve on that. Yamamoto's return has had more impact than I expected. Hyman continues to be the hardest working guy around. Nice to see Ryan energized with Shore and Kostin.

Another incredible game by Skinner! Great win for the Oilers, hopefully the Oilers are starting to play like they were expected to, a top team in the league. Its simply astonishing that McDavid is on pace for 73 goals and 158 points. He is literally going for his first maurice richard trophy. McDavid is proving that he can also score at un unbelievable pace, if he stays on this pace he will beat is single season goal record by 29 goals, its just incredible.

SKINNER GOT GAME! BOY THAT DEFENCE WAS MUCH TIGHTER!!!! Nurse still needs to make better defensive play. That 2 man advantage was definitely something I thought they'd struggle with. Kostin and Ryan are definitely getting that line together.

Finally they play a fairly solid all around game, looking sharp and playing smarter they have been. One of the Oilers best games this year for sure. For years now, Decembers have been horrid and easy to predict. This year I'm hopeful they can keep playing like they did in this game and reverse that old trend. Kostin and Skinner, just excellent, Ryan too. I really don't like the way Yamo keeps being abused, as well as some of the other players, and they get away with it because there's no real deterrent. Kane will help there, Kostin helps that way, but they aren't enough. A player or two who have the ability to apply "Behavior Modification" would help this team a ton).

@@schrempskynate8944 traded Dmitrey Samakurov a defenceman. It’s was a one for one I believe. Kostin was team Russias captain at the world juniors, and a first round pick. From what I heard kostin needed a change of team and that’s why he wasn’t worth a whole lot. Unreal trade though kids got crazy potential and skill.

Wild play like a pack of "Wild" dogs. They are hard to play against. Skinner has been great, keep sub par Campbell on the bench. The big contract was a mistake on this goalie. Oilers will be much tougher when there third best player, Evander Kane comes back.
