Kadri actually impressed me. Anyone that looks at the situation objectively sees Kadri wasn't at fault for the collision. And instead of answering their dirty attempts he just kept scoring. He seems like a different player tbh. Not the Kadri we know

Watching the Tampa Bay/Florida series, I noticed that the Lightning were really good at clearing rebounds while Florida just was not crashing the net and grabbing those rebounds. A lot of scoring chances just poofed away for Florida.

The Oilers went through their biggest rival which makes this run to the conference final legit. Now they face the Big Dog of the western conference. This series should be amazing. TBH I'm not betting on my Oilers, but I also won't be too surprised if they win. This series will be turbo, and much of the "playoffness" on the ice will come from 2 former Leafs who they damn sure could've used this year, haha.

@@Jojojordonian I disagree. Any defenseman could make that mistake on any given dump in or play behind the net against any team. However there are very few forwards that would be able to make that pass like Kucherov did.

I think part of that cheer is disbelief. I was at game 7 of the LA-Oilers series when McDavid scored (see last week's Hat Picks) and there was an element of disbelief/astonishment. Despite having seen him play in person on several occasions, there is still a strong element of 'How on earth did he do that?' to those plays.

For Kadri, you missed how he was smart to not retaliate against the Blues to give the Avs a full 2-minute 2-man advantage. He scored his second goal 7 seconds after the 2-man advantage ended. Perron cross-checks Kadri and then has to take the minus.

Obviously everything about Vasilevski is amazing, but the thing that really sticks out to me every time I see it is just how STRONG he is in almost any position. He'll be in situations where guys are piling into his crease, trying to push it through his pads, and he'll be totally solid. Situations where other goalies are pushed into the net or crushed under the press, he'll just make a strong A-frame and hold his ground.

People noted how heavily Bob was sweating in the handshake line, and it seemed Vasy was as cool as could be without breaking a sweat. The kid is just built differently, and I'm thankful we get to have him as a goalie.

On behalf of all Blues fans, I’d like to apologize for the extremely undeserved threats and verbal attacks against Kadri following Game 3. I saw this stuff on Twitter and it was outrageous. And Binnington, although justifiably angry, should not have thrown his water bottle at Kadri mid-postgame interview. As much as I don’t like Kadri as a player (in the way that I know lots of people hate Brad Marchand), I respect him for his response to all of that backlash in Game 4. As a Blues fan, it was a heartbreaking and depressing loss for the home team, but as a person, it was inspiring to watch a player that received so much undeserved hate bounce back with one of the most stellar performances of the playoffs so far. We, the fans, weren’t deserving of a win on Monday. But I won’t stop cheering for our team until their time is up, and hopefully, they’ll survive to see another game.

This is honestly the only playoffs McDavid has made a difference. The others he had some scoring but his poor defence cancelled that out. The difference is Kane on his line helping in both offence and making that line better on the defensive side of the puck.
