The tail makes it easier for me to track the puck at 2x speed (life hack: use 2x speed on videos). I don't think it's a dang-it or a hat pick. It's just kind of there.

@@encycl07pedia- to me it makes it harder to keep up with the play. Im not really looking at the puck or the players anymore just the bold line constantly being drawn on the screen. Probably similar to how subtitles can cause me to miss out on sounds and visuals in movies because theyre distracting

Tail is for the ones that don’t understand the game. Should be like CC option so it can be turned on or off as it wrecks the game IMO for the ones that can follow the play

Heh, my thumbnail fell off in my goalie glove after a game once. Hurt it at work earlier that week. Got someone in the locker room to throw up in their mouth a bit when I shook it out.

The really funny thing about that Ty Delandrea reversed double minor…a few minutes after that Delandrea got high sticked again and it knocked out some of his teeth. Stars only got a 2 minute power play for that one. 😂

The Stutzle dang-it was actually a two-fer; 1, Stutzle gives the puck away to Gaudreau who sets up Marchenko for the GWG. The second dang-it was Gaudreau who sets up Marchenko for the GWG, a win that put the Jackets in 30th place in the NHL, ahead of the Ducks and Hawks, and jeopardizing their chances at Bedard

Man that sens-flyers game was wild. Deslauriers fights two guys back to back not long after Debrincat and Farabee "fight", the very abysmal offense from the flyers (I think it was a franchise record for the least sog in regulation). Same game brassard broke his fibula (hope his recovery goes well)

I remember when they first introduced the ability to challenge a double minor, if they found it wasn't valid, it was downgraded to just a minor. Even if there was literally no penalty on the play. I imagine they changed it because it's pretty absurd to challenge something, show a replay of it, see that no penalty actually occurred on the play, and yet still assess a 2 minute minor for the ref getting a call wrong.

That black streak on the ice must be a Bally sports thing. I've seen it during power plays, and I guess they do it during overtime. It's reminiscent of the FoxTrax Puck abomination and therefore a dang-it. Re that weird Pens goal that hit the glass and bounced off the goaltender and in--yeah, I’ve seen that happen before.

5000 seats seems pretty good, I think the lowest you can be is 3000. I checked a while back, cause I think that Edmundston, New Brunswick on the border there has a university (NHL-size) rink that seats just over 3000 I believe. I think if the Panthers shipped up north, they could rename the team the Madawaska Maines, put a little ice-lion in the logo and rock on. I think they could get Quebec regulars, as well as people from Maine driving up. Have to upgrade the bridge across the border eventually, but it would be awesome for the beautiful city. Yeah in fact, work has already begun on the new border bridge into town.

As a flames fan in reference to Rakell's missed shot off the glass and going into the net, Nazim Kadri has been practicing that exact play and shoots high off the glass at least 3 times a game this entire season and has resulted in more turnovers, odd man rushes and goals against us than any other player on our roster has made this season either by a bad pass, bad luck and strange bounces or even a goalie not tending the goal.. I am often more surprised when Kadri scores then if McDavid doesn't score a highlight reel goal but somehow he beat him in the accuracy all-star challenge??? 🤨🙃
