I had a similar situation, although much lower minor leagues. Went to tryouts and was kept and invited to train but was told they were signing their two goalies and they liked me but couldn't have 3 and was referred to a team in PA but it was too far and late to go for a "maybe"

Yeah, the team lost like the first 3 games 12-1, fired the coach and traded the goalies and the league is constantly a breath away from going under

Terry Hartmann The team I made the camp with had no owner and the coach was a player/coach. That said, even though the league was basically a joke, they actually sent more guys to the EC than the Southern Pro did.
