Is touching the Conference Final trophy superstition or silly?

I think it's different for the Panthers since they clearly feel like the job isn't finished and the core was just there already so they don't feel like this is the accomplishment they are looking for when their goal is now right in front of them.

*If it's out of superstition, it's stupid. If it's to avoid settling for less than the Stanley cup i.e let's keep the momentum, that's reasonable.*
