I am particularly interested in simulating local coastal fluids, especially the effect of seawater crashing against the shore
@RedefineFX28 күн бұрын
You can’t do that with Niagara Fluids well just yet.I recommend you check out liquigen, flip fluids in blender, Phoenix in Max or Houdini.

I hope you'll go back fast to creating tyFlow tutorials ❤❤

Hey Jesse, I've learned so much from your tyflow and phoenix tutorials, thank you for making them and sharing!! Question: Is this something someone could jump right into without any previous UE experience?
@RedefineFX2 ай бұрын
Thank you and yes! Absolute newbies are welcome. The first 2 chapters are there for this exact purpose.

Hey Jess, The course looks awesome! Quick question before I join-can we make the liquid simulation look more like real water instead of the sphere shape? Just curious if that’s possible. Thanks!
@RedefineFX2 ай бұрын
This is something I cover in the other course - Niagara Immersion. For small scale sims like what’s in this course, the meshing just isn’t detailed enough and it ends up looking pretty bad. The spheres allow me to color them by speed or change their color over time etc. once they improve the meshing I’d love to add a few examples as bonus lessons in the future.

@@RedefineFXThanks, Jess! I loved the first chapter of the course - it’s really well done and super easy to follow. Amazing work, I’d definitely recommend it

Hey Jesse Love your courses! Would you know how to to create the Plexus effect using Niagara? With the lines connecting orbs? It is something that I am trying to cerate in unreal. Cheers!
@RedefineFX2 ай бұрын
Thank you. I haven't tried yet but when I have a minute I'll see if I can add it as a bonus lesson. I know it's possible as I've seen it done somewhere
