This video slipped through my attention but anyway, thanks for introducing this nib and I think I found it on A/L/I among many other HD replacement nib units. I could only identify it by the engravings. BTW, I never understood why the HD 1866 never gained attention and popularity on YT. It's one of my favorite FP's. And after the holidays I will order this nib.

@@FountainPenWorld-z4i happy new snake year to you as well. HD nib engraving has always been a mess. I summarise them in a table, but there are more exceptions. Plus, your Ali traffckers must have no idea what they are selling. I will briefly talked about HD nib in coming T1 review.

About A/L/I sellers, either it's a lack of English even though there are enough translation apps available, or they simply don't care as longs as the bucks are rollin' in. I'm already a subscriber of your channel, so an alert had been always sent by YT, only this video wasn't shown. Occasionally, YT drives me nuts...

I have four pens (1866) with this nib; 1 EF, 3 F. I like them all. I also like that you can fill them by holding the nib with the breather hole just below the surface of the ink.

@HagothVoyage yes Comrade, that's the Low Ink Refill, the most understated and overlooked feature.

I have been surprised how the new Hongdian nibs are soft and provide a nice line variation. I have one on my D1 model. I wish it was more available on all theor models.

I forgot to mention in the video that this GenIV doesn't come with 1866 by factory default. I bought GenIV separately.
