Funny, because this is actually one of my fovourite classical pieces along with Liszt's version for the piano... I'm also a kpop fan and when Blackpink's song first came out, I was shook. I usually don't like classical music sampled onto kpop or any other pop for that matter (I just hate when they use a beautiful piece as a gimmick), but for some reason it's one of the few exceptions. "Shut Down" is actually quite good, not gonna lie. Red Velvet's "Feel my Rhythm" is also not bad, though I still have mixed feelings about it.

Wow.

Are we going to talk about how BlackPink fans disrepecting this track and assaulting and sending death threats to a 15-year-old girl called Chloe and TwoSet Violin, just like how when Wolf Cukier discovered a new planet Kpop fans flooded the comment section by saying the planet looks like BTS album cover?

@misslili9509 Жыл бұрын
@@twiceblackpinke ofc they would hate blackpink for sampling it for two reasons : they used this masterpiece just to say stupid words that has nothing to do with talents and art Second it will only attracts immature fans and the comment section became dirty , some saying Bp in you Area, some say stupid comments and that's disrespectful for a man who's a legend not just a typical artist
@LongDeadArtist11 ай бұрын
@@twiceblackpinke Music at least 100 years old is public domain so sampling it is fine. Now since Black Pink has an more external/modern reach, people will more commonly associate this song with the most recent meaning of it which is Black Pink. It's very unfortunate, but it's how it is.
