I did my own sketches as I worked through what I needed to do. I know there are kits available in USA for Flat Head V8 conversion of Ford 8N, maybe they have drawings that you could use. Cheers.

I'm in Oregon, USA. I've got an old Fergie that I'd like to update with a 4.3l Chevy v6. The chevy bellhousing bolt pattern is well-known, but I haven't been able to find the Ferguson's anywhere. I'd be very grateful if you can share that with me. Thanks! -Mike

It does not have power steering.

thats great, did you have to make a sandwich plate for the gearbox to mate up the v8 ?

Yes, I had to make two actually. One to match the holes in the bell housing and one to match the holes in the motor, then bolt them together. Similarly inside, to space the flywheel back from the motor the same amount as the sandwich plates, two spacers were used as the drilling in the end of the crankshaft is different to the drilling in the Fergie flywheel.

Can it run PTO and pull implements still or is this just for speed? I've found a lot of these but most people just abandon their channel soon after or don't reply. I want to do this but only if I can still use it for practical stuff when needed

I only use it only for "show". There is no reason that it couldn't be used as originally intended, probably doesn't have as much power down low as the original motor, so there would be a tendency for wheel-spin as it revs higher.
