I’m sorry I’m being a burden, becomes thank you for being supportive I’m sorry I can’t help you, becomes thank you for understanding I can’t help right now You can add yours and “thank you” for watching 🤍

The most helpful advice was replacing Sorry with Thank you game changer.

For me it was over commiting to friends, family and others until I was burnt. Well, I noticed this and start learning how to say No to people. I am glad that I am fully committed to prioritizing myself now, it wasn't easy but I worked on it intentionally. Thank you❤

I needed the reminders raised in this video. I am still working on this and sometimes when caught unawares, I still fail myself which annoys me. But work in progress… Thanks Ayanime!!

Your videos are very insightful! My focus for 2024 has been reinventing myself and elevating my mindset. As the eldest daughters of an African household i’ve been functioning wayyyy in my masculine energy and it has not work in my advantage further in life. So now i’m finding ways to be more feminine. I’m glad i’ve found your page you share very useful information ❤️

Wow, so much value!!!...I love when you said, "it is not your responsibility to manage people's emotions"!!!

This ‘I’m sorry’ is one I’m currently battling with cause I always said it as a way of being polite or showing concern/ empathy to others in challenging situations…. But I’ve come to see that it’s not the right usage for it when I started meeting more people from other races
@ayanime_edem6 ай бұрын
Now that you’ve set the intention to stop, different situations will come up to help you do that, so watch out for those situations and use them for practice. If you make a mistake, forgive yourself quickly and look out for the next time 🤍

I'm so glad i stumbled on your page. I was a people pleaser until very recently, I'm gradually moving out of that zone A lot of people don't like it And I've stepped on several toes in the process But, I've been happier

Ayanime thank you! I noticed some friends feel entitled and expect me to do certain things for them even when I'm not comfortable. When I say, no, it becomes a problem. Please throw more light on this. I think the statement, a friend in need is a friend indeed doesn't mean you should kill yourself to help someone
@ayanime_edem27 күн бұрын
All that has been covered in the video. If you’re not comfortable then don’t do it. People need to get used to hearing no from you

😅😅 I have been watching your videos for a while now, but I am a stubborn person who finds it difficult to subscribe and like posts, but my God, this video deserves to be subscribed to and liked.e. I recently made the decision to start saying no, and I can assure you that it is not funny. I am still working on getting my sister to forgive me for turning her down when she asked for my assistance with something because i wasn't fit.. 😊😊😊 Thanks so much ma...

This is a very nice video but I have a question for the last point. I live in a big family and I’m the oldest. Most of the time, I don’t have time for myself in the house because I need to do stuff like getting my siblings off from school when my mom isn’t available, giving my siblings food and monitoring them, I also need to help my mom with online procedures such as renewing an insurance policy or checking import emails and if that wasn’t even enough, I also need to help my step-dad apply for jobs, check his emails and respond to some of them. I’m also at uni so with the tiny amount of time I have, I use it to submit work. Thus the only time I can actually study and do something is when I’m at Uni. I don’t know what to do, I really need advice. I was thinking of getting an accommodation however ik that if I do that the stress is going to be too much for my parents to handle…
