I think another part of it is nobody respects someone who is being overly nice and obviously trying to win your approval. If you want girls to like you then you need to communicate that you are not only high value but that they need to win YOUR approval. NOT the other way around, you would be amazed at how well this works.The irony is it can actually go to far the other way and the person can become suffocating and needy.

The advice at the end was actually more helpful than I thought. I honestly blame single moms, and what women say to boys at an early age. I had a mom that trampled me with being "The Nice Guy" for years, and it's reinforced by women when you talk to them. It took till my mid 20s to realize that women vote with their vaginas, and not what they tell you. -My advice is to get the book, "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Robert A. Here is my thing about being friend-zoned: I’ve been best friends with girls, who I spend tons of time with, and then inevitably develop feelings for. We hang out by ourselves, and do things that would traditionally be seen as “romantic”. It just never turns sexual and by extension mutually exclusive. I feel when a girl rejects my advances, but still wants to be my best friend, it’s simply because I’m physically repulsive to them. And it’s hard to not be hurt by that.

Ex-nice guy here. This was a good video and I think I'll use the "girlfriend zone" more often. For me, when a girl said "You're nice, but..." or the equivalent, in my mind it was a way of saying "I like you but there's something in the way," so I'd continue to pursue her thinking she liked me back but didn't feel like solving "the problem". That's another reason why a hard "NO" and a thorough and polite explanation is best, since you won't be giving them a floor mat for their mental gymnastics.

While I do agree with nearly every point ya made, I think there are two different main archetypes of “nice guys” and you were only really talking about the ones that are borderline incel. There ARE nice guys that are just normal people too, and they do tend to get overlooked regardless of their varying degrees of other interesting characteristics. Those guys definitely struggle to find women. And let’s also not get too far into denial that women do tend to prefer some edgy traits. I say edgy because I agree that plain assholes aren’t the same. Women are biologically inclined to choose mates based on some of these traits. A more “edgy” personality implies a certain strength that women absolutely do find appealing. Let’s not rework that too much. I definitely think you’re dead on about 99% of what you’re saying but that 1% is a fairly important aspect that can’t really be brushed away. Cheers and keep doing what you’re doing. Love to see a modern woman with (un)common sense trying to spread sense to the masses. We need more people like ya in the world ;) Cheers

I know where you’re coming from, but that’s bs what you’re doing to these nice guys. Men really don’t do “hints.” Seriously, like, ever. I know most girls find that kind of subtlety to be sweet and sensitive, but guys are dense af when it comes to subtleties and won’t understand any of that the way girls want them to. Guys are simple methodical creatures that seek simple yes or no answers. Giving a “hint” as to why you said no only makes them feel like shit because you knew what the answer was, but you didn’t have the ovaries to tell them. So now they’ll blame themselves for not knowing how to fix whatever their problem was. Then it just ends up turning into bitterness. There are already far too many questions out there that everyone seeks answers for themselves. So why force another one on these nice guys? The biggest thing that held me back from getting a girl was always overcomplicating stuff and not wanting to ruin my chances. I only got my first girlfriend at 20 and been together since. Before her I kept putting myself in the friendzone, being afraid to confess my feelings or even just talk to new girls and I've let multiple potential chances slip away. Only recently have I learned that some of those girls were also interested in me, but because I never took my chances they thought I just wanted to be friends. Agreed... I told one of my best friends that I was developing a romantic interest in her and she turned me down. We agreed to still be friends... but after about a year I just couldn't handle it anymore and had to move on.
