Hey Mark here's a tip: When using picks, before your current one breaks make a new one and use or for a little bit then once the durability goes down, combine them in your personal 2x2 inventory crafting. You actually save levels and gain 10% durability from doing it this way.

Btw, for the iron pickaxe tip could be a bit better. You don't necissarily have to combine them in an anvil. If they have enchants you wanna keep, sure, but unenchanted combine them in a crafting table.

for better repairment of tools, make a new one, and use the new one untilit has half durability. repair it withe the old one, and you have 10%more durability. note that this only works in the crafting bench, and it's used for unenchanted tools and also, beacons can be mined by your bare hand by punching it, so you don't need any pickaxe the water structure from ice has been fixed in 1.11 snapshot, so you cannot make it again above version 1.11
