For the average viewer who's just shitting on Dezign all the time, it's a breath of fresh air to finally see a trusted figure like NiceWigg, address the huge lapse in IGL capablitiies of Timmy. I also think the constant online focus on Dezign's mistakes also affect Timmy himself as he might actually start subconsciously believing it is ALL Dezign's fault, which often it is not.

Dezign is usually the one not ever listening to the IGL, doing his own thing, and dieing first!! Timmy just started IGLing and he will be better than dezign ever would! He just has to get his Micro managing down

I'm not here to say Dezign is perfect, as I find him to bring morale down for the team and other issues, which with that I can agree. Why don't you handle other pro players like Hal, Zer0, and other "toxic" players to the same standard you're doing to Dezign? If you say "cuz they are the super team" or "they have a track record of winning", you're still ignorant on what you are saying, given both Dezign and Timmy have come so close to winning LANs and other events together.

Issue with Timmy is he is not a natural leader. He has a mindset of a fragger as an igl. When fights happen, Timmy usually goes mute or unsure comms.

Timmy is cool as hell but problem is thats not the IGL archetype in apex being cool and laid back and "figuring things out" You have to be super assertive, calculating moves ahead of time. Proactive and not reactive. Timmy is SUPER reactive waiting for things to happen in their favor or see "what happens". Just like Wigg said, there is no gameplan there is no micro calling or laying out how to take a teamfight its just reacting.

I would say over-all it seems Timmy just doesn't have enough experience being an IGL(yet). The confidence informed a more laid back callout style, which are just basic lessons that need to be learned, especially in an environment that juices you up after some good plays. I feel like Designful receives a lot of flack for this, because he's been in the space a bit longer and recognizes this, but cannot find the words to express this in the moment, and naturally tries to find better plays on the low. Rambeau is excellent at sitting on the fence and remaining a solid contributor, but this becomes a flaw when Timmy needs to recognize some issues. Just my deductions as an avid enjoyer, but this jumps out as the main issue for me right now.

Des is very clearly the weak leak from a professional and mental standpoint, even if he does make plays and frag well. I personally couldn't be on a team without counter calling if I weren't IGL. But I'm also not a ****ing man child that can't take criticism within the team due to external pressure. Timmy shouldn't be taking shit for the weight of the Internet. Des made his bed when he flamed chat for years straight, and now he needs to learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable (I bet he hates that he said that haha). Not a horrible guy but he exudes a level of toxicity that I'd hard counter immediately in a professional environment. Same goes for the autistic crap I hear coming out of people like Hal or Zero's mouths (I am also autistic). I do need to judge Des also by his peers. I'm confident they'll crush it though. I'm proud of them making it work after all they've been through and I'll watch every game.

If timmy is a bad igl thats fine... but they agreed as a team to have him igl. That means blindly following comms from timmy even if its bad and reviewing after. The problem is timmy has been undermined by dezign from day 1. Not listening to calls, straight up doing the opposite at times. Leading to timmy being a shakier igl imho.

I understand what you're saying and that 100% happens, but how would you feel if your IGL goes silent/panics and then when you try to comm something your IGL either makes a different totally random call that no ones prepared for or you die before that happens. That happens a lot. For example, it was a game in cenote cave they wanted to evac away Timmy places the evac he says "we take this and land here *pings location*. Then I think Dezign says "I don't know if we can take this we'll take too much damage." What does Timmy do "umm." That's all whereas any top IGL would've said "take it take it take it," or would've been aggressive with the comm Timmy panics and goes quiet. Dezign then jumps off because he takes like 50 damage and then Rambeu follows they die Timmy solo takes evac and once that happens he says "we take this," but they already jumped off because he didn't address previous concerns. IMO I can't blame Dezign 100% for having ideas when Timmy himself could also just tell him to not give input at all or when Timmy goes silent and Dezign gives input. I think Timmy needs to be willing to confidently call a play even if he's not 100% sure it'll work.

As much as I like Timmy I'm always the first to throw the rock, wherever team he has been in I acknowledge they don't know how to close matches, they do good in KP terms but man, it's clear as daylight that he needs to be more cold headed, he gets pumped up so fast/easy and now he is the IGL he has the ability to drag down the whole team (like that Storm Point game where they had height but decided to push a team down below and ended dying to the 3rd party). There's a lot of room to improve not only for Timmy but the other two as well, hopefully they can put their shiet together and learn to play as a team (with Gen ofc) before champs.

i think Timmy needs to focus on communicating how he wants his teammates to use their abilities early on. Game 4 is a great example where they all just reacted to the zone closing at the very end cause they didn't have a plan with the zip and wall.

Rambeuski is a super sub. Timmy igl is still shaping up, its just that, he don't get proper input from Gen. Yes, beau and Dezign do gave their inputs but, Input from Gen, is one of a kind. And, gen is perfect all rounder players, that's what Dojo missing.

People act like IGL'ing is something you can learn, Unfortunately much like being a "leader" in any work, school or sport setting, it cant be taught. you have it or you dont, now you may be a bad leader, or a good leader but everyone knows in a group setting who the leaders are. And we all do a collective eye roll when a person who isnt a leader tries to step into that lane. I've yet to see a pro in almost any FPS go from being an out of their mind fragger to being one of the top IGL's in the country / world. Still have never seen it.

Timmy IGL is definitely gonna be awful because he is still new to it duh. Thats obvious af. But the bigger issue is Dezign literally griefing his entire team by counter-calling, not following calls by IGL. Wigg is crazy by glazing over Dezign. There's a reason why Timmy left DSG when he was with Dezign. It already was questionable that they are getting back together again and nothing fucking changed and what we see is proof. Dezign needs to fkin go.

I recommend everyone go back and watch all the VODs from Timmy's IGLing games if you want to have a real opinion of his IGLing. He comms a lot and over time, you can see that it gets harder and harder to do so because he is unsure if Dezign will follow. It's constant that when Timmy makes a call, he has to look back and wonder where he is and most of the time, Dezign is lagging behind, doing something else, or knocked. It's hard to get better at a role, when you can't see your plans fully executed.

I personally like Timmy and want him to get better. It's just hard to do when and ex-IGL can't follow calls very well. If he adjusts and follows calls. It will be easier to call out Timmy and really work on the root of his IGLing.
