This seems a bit half-hearted as an origin story. It should be Mrs Sainsbury riding into Bethlehem on a donkey. Then we see the wisemen and shepherds drawing near bearing wine and mince pies, Mary Sainsbury is sweating and straining but then instead of giving birth to our lord and saviour the son of god, she was just lifting a roast turkey out of the oven, and everyone sits down to a lovely Christmas dinner in the stable. That seems like the best way for a supermarket to really lay claim to Christmas. I've got a great idea for the Easter advert too.
