My experience with "Beck" was reading the manga. I've read it all the way through several times, it's fantastic! A top 10 manga, definitely. But watching the anime...not so good. See, it follows a band, called Beck. And while the manga allows you to imagine just how good Beck is, the anime couldn't measure up to my mental image of them. You may have a different experience though.
