Masterpiece. I spent half of the video literally crying, this is so beautiful and so powerful at the same time that is a treat to the soul. Probably this is why it might be the best song ever made in modern era, the level of complexity and detail shown by this song is magnificent.

If you're referring to symphonic music: well, I'd say that Classical is doing REALLY fine for being a genre that is roughly 3 centuries old. Plus, orchestras are now starting to adopt pieces from movies, popular music and video games, which in turn brings in new listeners. So all is fine. If you're referring to music like Queen: luckily, the recent Bohemian Rhapsody movie has skyrocketed Queen's popularity amongst younger people. Newer generations have been, once again, exposed to a band that was around before they were born. I'd say that all is fine as well. Again, we can't expect popularity on the level of modern Pop musicians, but then again, music like this has proven itself to last throughout the ages.

As a cellist, and as a huge Queen fan, I gotta say, Ive never wanted to play a piece more than I do now. The arrangement is so accurate and precise, I love it so much and the viola, the flute, the cornet (or trumpet), the oboe, it was all just beautiful. Every solo was perfect. It was magnificently unison and an amazing piece to cover a band like Queen.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide No escape from reality; Open your eyes Look up to the skies and see I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy Because I'm easy come, easy go Little high, little low Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me Mama, just killed a man Put a gun against his head Pulled my trigger, now he's dead Mama, life had just begun But now I've gone and thrown it all away Mama, oo-o-o-o-oo Didn't mean to make you cry If I'm not back again this time tomorrow Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters Too late, my time has come Sends shivers down my spine Body's aching all the time Goodbye everybody - I've got to go Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth Mama, oo-o-o--oo - (anyway the wind blows) I don't want to die I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all... INSTRUMENTAL BRIDGE I see a little silhouetto of a man (Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango Thunderbolt and lightning - very very frightening me) Galileo, (Galileo), Galileo, (Galileo), Galileo Figaro - (magnifico-o-o-o-o) I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me (He's just a poor boy from a poor family Spare him his life from this monstrosity) Easy come easy go - will you let me go Bismillah! No! We will not let you go - let him go Bismillah! We will not let you go - let him go Bismillah! We will not let you go - let me go Will not let you go Will not let you go (NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER LET ME GO-O-O-O-O) No, no, no, no, no, no, no no no-no- Oh mama mia, mama mia, (mama mia let me go) Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me for me for ME! INSTRUMENTAL BREAK So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye So you think you can love me and leave me to die Oh baby - can't do this to me baby I just gotta get out - just gotta get right outta here INSTRUMENTAL BRIDGE Ooh yeah, ooh yeah, ooh... INSTRUMENTAL BREAK Nothing really matters Anyone can see Nothing really matters nothing really matters... to meeee Anyway the wind blows

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra played at our high school, way back in the day. If you've never heard a full orchestra play live (in person), you owe it to yourself to experience it for yourself. I promise, you will never forget it. No sound system in the world can replicate the true power of what I heard on that memorable day in 1968!

As a disclaimer i did not mean to sound like other members from queen aren’t talented etc, i consider all of them extremely talented, every single one of them have written wonderful songs, i just wanted to give freddie his credit in this one
@yunsuuu6 жыл бұрын
@@vbl915 Yes, but for example i am impressed that four (or more mainly three, since John Deacon didnt sing very much) ppl's voices can create such great operatic effect and volume. Also the 'Deacy amp' enabled Brian's guitar to sound like a trumpet, adding to the orchestra like effect. Of course Freddie's songwriting here is pure genius, a poignant expression of the human condition, and we should give him full credit for that!
