One of my favorite Nick's song ... Powerful... Harsh and poetic.

The first Nick Cave album I've laid my hands on. Too soon for me to fully understand it in my early teenage years, but in a world back then populated by fast food music and fashion, this stood out like a sore thumb that I will gladly nurse till the end of my days.

Double 45 RPM, they sound so good, even today. One of my most favored possessions

This was my first too, after see Nick Cave perform in the Wim Wenders movie Wings of Desire. I was so bored at 13 watching the film, but riveted when he played. I listened to the album and didn't listen again until 16. I was also too young at first. But from then on I've been a fan.

@@boohradley I absolutely love that movie. They used the story to do the Nicholas Cage remake, city of angels which by the way also has a decent soundtrack.

Any experts here able to offer insight into why the track listing was different for the CD pressings? I love the album opening with this track (the cd was my first experience with the album), but all the streaming services present the original release order. Any clues for the changes?
