Nick got that tough body language, no surprise or anything but damn. The way he was standing and moving around, he was ready to smack that dude at any time.
@cb-tz8og23 күн бұрын
He’s always like that. Very hard for any authority to talk to him. That’s why he got the 5 yr suspension. He went into the hear, and all he did was plead the 5th for every single question they asked him. I think he did that , knowing that if he started speaking his mind, he’d scare the fuck out of everyone on the panel. Good idea, on paper, but even his 5th’s seemed hostile. With zero cooperation, they had nothing to work with, so they said, fuck it. Threw the max at him. He can only blame himself for that disaster.

Nick is a cool guy, hes just purposely misunderstood because of where he comes from. They like to use him as a villain cause he looks like a bad ass. I hate the way people assume your crazy if you look tough. Nick seems like a gentlemen with lots of respect, if you just get on his level and cut the bullshit!

+LJ You are actually saying that what makes you gangster is the type of food you eat? Of all the factors possibly involved in making someone a gangster you give importance to food. Well since I´ve met someone for the first time relating food to being gangster, could you rank the following food for me, starting with the most gangster food? Hey since I have the privilige of meeting an expert ont he topic, could you tell me If eating Herring is high or low on the gangster scale? I like them, but im afraid I have no knowledge on if they are gangster or not to eat.

I personally love Nick for exactly the way he is, BUT sometimes I really wish he could communicate more clearly for the "fucking idiots" who can't look passed his speech. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely "speak" Nick Diaz, you know? Unfortunately, most people aren't going to bother really trying to understand his psyche, his warrior approach, and his skills as a business man. They just make him a joke or label him as being crazy, blah blah bah. Obviously he isn't universally misunderstood. He has a huge cult following. If only the rest of the world could understand where he's coming from. Nate is much better at being clear, pleasant, and charismatic. I'm happy for his success, but I feel that our mainstream culture is really missing out on knowing who Nick Diaz really is.

You look at Nicks accomplishments, all the blood, sweat and work hes put into the UFC in making it what it is today, he has the right to express how he feels. Fast forward 12 years, you got Wonderbread Whiteboy McGagger saying the same bullshit with a flimsy resume and hes the major draw....................... That smells like something you dont want stuck to your shoe. GSP has enjoyed fighting in Canada because there is no chance of getting a decision as long as he can hang on. PEDs, Vaseline all over his body, corrupt judges, the list goes on. This is what the UFC wants? How many time did Dana White talk smack about boxing and their bad judging, thumbing his brown nose at the sport when it all ends up the same. Dont tell me its not in the UFCs hand when there is bullshit in the air, they know exactly what they are doing.

This seems like it's being filmed secretly. Diaz doesn't know how to censor himself, he just says everything on his mind as it comes to him. Its not always clear what he's trying to say, but it makes for great sound bits.
@hollowbullet11 жыл бұрын
Diaz didn't get hurt standing up, GSP did (Watch round 3). GSP only got off a few potshots which were ineffective. Nick Diaz was unfazed by GSP's stand-up. He was willing to take a few jabs to try and get GSP to try his hand at stand-up exchanges. GSP was concerned about Diaz's stand-up, when his confidence grew and he had a proper exchange; he got rocked: quickly went back to reactive takedowns as stressed by his corner. GSP couldn't stand with Diaz, the guy who beat Paul Daley at his own game.

A little over 4 years ago, UFC 94. BJ Penn's corner stopped it, though. If you're talking about actual ref stoppage, it was 5 years ago. If you google GSP right now, all the news stories are about this. It's cool that he can still keep winning out of his prime 'n all.. but with all of the exciting fighters in the Welterweight division nowadays it sucks to have every single championship be boring as hell. Maybe Hendricks will hold GSP down for 5 rounds - that would be funny as hell.

Nick is a successful fighter be he could be so much farther ahead if he could just see beyond his own views. Most people get it and he just can't wrap his head around it. Such a shame because for all the exciting fights he puts on, he should and could have more for his efforts.
@187Wretched11 жыл бұрын

GSP fought with an injured Achilles. Might be the reason he's performance was getting worse as the rounds went. He's trainer said he worsen the injury while the fight. If you don't know what an Achilles is google it. Plus the scoring was 50-45 so not a close fight at all. Also note Significant strikes for Diaz 41 and for GPS 105, I forget what takedowns was but I don't even think Diaz had 1 lol
