Why not? Think about it, AD is only 25. He’s not even in his prime and he’s already one of the best in the league. The pelicans obviously know this hence why they’re asking for the young core, who are nowhere near AD’s class, plus 4 1st rd picks. The odds of one of those young players or picks becoming better or even as good as AD is very slim. AD is fragile, but incredibly good and apparently worth enough to Lebron even if it’s only for two years, to trade the “future”. NO is simply milking the value for all it’s worth, as they should
