Truly a magical person. I once met Nick on the airport where I worked ... remember that day was really stresfull and nothing worked for me. And then he came along after standing in a huge queue, totally relaxed and when I gave him his passport back, he wished me better end of the day and good luck there. That moment everything bad just passed and I started to feel sooo much better. Just after he left to the plane I realized who I've met :D. I never forget that moment even it was in fact ordinary but special on the other hand. He has an incredible charisma

My favorite story of someone meeting him in public was a random kid who actually had no clue he was. It was in airport (I forget which country), and he could tell that Nick Cave was famous, as he noticed a bunch of fans approaching him for selfies and autographs. Not knowing who Cave was, the kid (13 at the oldest, I’d guess) asked for a selfie, which Cave happily obliged. The kid posted it to social media, acknowledging that he didn’t know who he was in his caption; and, the internet wasted no time in excitedly schooling this adorable youth.

My favourite story was from Nick's perspective that a mysterious figure came at him out of the shadows at some festival, thrusting a hand out to greet him saying "I like your music" and it was Bob Dylan! Nick told the story on stage in Melbourne during his speaking tour, and said he was so surprised and taken aback that he just managed to stammer something lame like, "I like your music too" with one of his all time heroes, then Nick was due on stage so the moment was gone.

That'a pretty much how I felt when I first heard the whole album. Jesus Alone is one of the most epic and ominous opening songs ever, and Skeleton Tree is one of the most beautiful and moving closers. Everything in between is just as good, but those 2 will always be my faves, along with Girl In Amber, and I Need You of course. Honourable mentions to Rings Of Saturn and Magneto. Definitely in my all time top 10 albums by anyone ever. Probably top 5.

Mostly I never knew which way was out Once it was on, it was on and that was that The umbilicus was a faucet that fountained rabbit blood And I spun on my wheel like a laboratory rat I was an electrical storm on the bathroom floor, clutching the bowl My blood was full of gags and other people's diseases My monstrous little memory had swallowed me whole It was the year I officially became the bride of Jesus In love, in love, in love you laugh In love you move, I move And one more time with feeling For love, you love, I laugh, you love Saw you in half And the stars are splashed across the ceiling Oh, the urge to kill somebody was basically overwhelming I had such hard blues down there in the supermarket queues And I had a sudden urge to become someone, someone like you Who started out with less than anyone I ever knew In love, in love, I love, you love, I laugh, you laugh I move, you move And one more time with feeling I love, you love, I laugh, you laugh I'm sawn in half And all the stars are splashed across the ceiling Oh, I know you come shining, softly to the hole to drink Come as far as the edge of my blood, and then swim And in the bathroom mirror I see me vomit in the sink And all through the house we hear the hyena's hymns Of love, I love, you love, I love, you love I laugh, you laugh, I move, you move, you move And one more time with feeling I love, you love, I laugh, you laugh We saw each other in half And all the stars are splashed and splattered across the ceiling 🤓🌹

I honestly believe this is one of his greatest concerts. I wish I could have been there. I took a break from NC because after Ghosteen I couldn't find pleasure in listening to any of his other songs. They felt more like a performance than anything, while Ghosteen was... it wasn't music. It wasn't a performance. I can't figure out what it is, but it helped me move through grief and life and somewhere at the end of it I found myself living again. Now I come back and am still amazed at this Copenhagen concert, so full of life and passion it's almost vulgar to watch. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds just become a part of your life, maybe like a pair a very old but well made shoes that get you through the dirt of the world and still manage to keep you warm.

I absolutely love how they reworked this one live. The album version is fantastic, though I don’t think that playing it straight in that vein would’ve worked nearly as well live as how they worked this one out.

This Rich, is a real artist. This is one of the most successful artists of all time who didn't sell out, if you don't know him you're up for a treat, he has 40+ years of material to go through. It's no boring generic bruno mars or ed sheeran, though, so if that's your preference, this is probably not for you. Otherwise, enjoy the new discovery.

You stated, and I quote, "Is Jonathan Davis from Korn", no hint of a joke or mention of a similar looking guy, etc, you claimed that it was Jonathan Davis which it clearly is not, unless every guy with long hair, beard and glasses is Jonathan Davis now. Quit while you're behind man, or better yet just delete your original comment, problem solved.
