If anyone wants to try some of those special mushrooms: Wood ear mushrooms are popular in Chinese cooking, you can probably find them for a cheap price at Asian supermarkets. They come dried like tea leaves, and you have to soak them in hot water which makes them expand. They are sometimes mixed with a vinaigrette into a salad-like dish or added to stews and stir-fries for texture. They’re also very healthy! :)
