The talking head segments needed to have the characters discussing what they want to do in the future, important things they're working on that haven't been completed, or big events coming up in their lives. I mean, these are college students! Tell me about their career aspirations! Their research projects! Tell me one of them will be the first person in their family to earn a degree! Squeeze in that one of them just got engaged! Learning that one of the students was pregnant midway through the movie was a more effective way of making me sort of care about her and her boyfriend than hearing what random hobbies they have.

Ah, I've been needing a trash fire to watch to cleanse my mind of Things (1989). I hope this means the film's Letterboxd page is going to can an explosion of snarky reviews soon.

Seeing this posted is like trick-or-treating in a new neighborhood and getting a full-sized candy bar from a McMansion 🙏

I remember that feeling - so for my first Halloween in my own house, I went and bought $50 worth of king sized candy bars to hand out for trick-or-treaters this year

Can confirm, Doctors don't always tell you "she'll be okay" considering when I was eight, they told my mom "yeah no, he's got a 95% chance of death and if he survives, he'll never be responsive again" and then I woke up, made a full recovery and confused every single person in the hospital.

I tried drinking while watching Nick but I always ended up choking on liquids trying to contain my squeals and laughter. So now I just sit here, with a dry throat but hey I cannot get enough of these videos.

Can we just have Halloween movie reviews all year long now? I’m addicted and don’t know what I’m guna do after this month is over when I don’t have your Halloween movie break downs anymore 😢 Although I am looking forward to the cheesy Christmas movie break downs as well 🤔 😂

Nick is the only Avenue through which I'll willingly experience a Lifetime/Hallmark Christmas movie. All the ones theyve covered so far have just been dreadful lol

Nick! It would be so rad if you could do a breakdown of the Blair Witch Project! That movie, in my opinion, has stood the test of time. For a low budget film, they did SUCH an awesome job! Also, you injecting your special brand of humour into it would help me be able to sleep next time I watch it ☺️

I think when the guy said "Besides my Oscars and my Emmys?" he was being sarcastic but because of the delivery he sounded serious and therefore stupid 😂

It sounds like such an obvious joke (even given the guy's bad line reading) every time I rewatch this video I'm haunted by the fact that Nick didn't pick up on that.

Those outdoor shots are fucking horrendous… it’s like they set their lens to “0 atmosphere outer space radiation”. I feel like if they had a soft balance card and put the camera on the worst possible setting nobody should ever use, “auto adjust”, it would have done a better job 😂
@Bacon__SteezBurger3 жыл бұрын
I have a very strong feeling that they just used the audition tapes for the talking heads. I also feel like the “director” yelled “it’s fine, we’ll get it in post!” after every 2 to 3 scenes.
