I am 55 years old. So i would say i know good music. And i love Nickelback from the first album on. Chads Voice is very unique, and these guys know how to write a meaningful song. No empty words. One of the best rockbands in modern times for sure :)

To me, it's their best album. You can listen to every song from beginning to end and it makes you feel great. Also, it didn't have any of the post-grunge sound of their previous stuff, and no pop rock/techno/ experimental use of different instruments stuff like their later stuff. Just a great rock album, and the one slow song, "Far Away," on this album, is moving af.

I took my wife to see this tour with 3 Doors Down opening and it's hands down one of the best rock shows I've seen. This was a serious band and sounded fantastic live. It's a shame that they got lured into the mainstream pop. One thing that always stood out was the bass playing, especially on the early records. You know a good band when the bass is top notch, this song has some awesome bass.

Saw them in Chicago Soldier Field, they opened for Bon Jovi, who my wife worshipped like he's some god or something,LOL. Sound system was tweaked for his part of the show. So the setup made them sound off, the instruments drowned out the vocals. They were still young back then though. Friday July 21st, 2006. Had a blast, good memories of that whole night.
