Every spinoff show with younger versions of characters are almost always an atrocity.. Of all the things you could do with a spin-off, let alone for SpongeBob, Nickelodeon choosing to go this route is unfathomable. But to the people upset by for this for the franchise, the show has contemporarily been a heaping pile of garbage anyways so it's not exactly damaging the reputation of the franchise anymore than what's ready been done. And maybe it would work out. Who knows. But with the way Nickelodeon seems to run things... Nickelodeon will inevitably fail to get with the times and fail in the end. I'm surprised they haven't already. They can't stop holding onto the past.

The Official Roberto Estrada please go watch PIEGUYRULZ’s Butch Hartman videos if you want to know more, but the short story is: Butch Hartman creates a kickstarter about a year ago called “Oaxis”, which is a streaming service where you could create a dozen of TV shows from. He said all of his shows are “family friendly”. During this time, he scammed people by using different quotes such as “I created your childhood” that seemed very suspicious. And the rewards for people who donated the money to help fund his kickstarter. During this time he responded to criticism by saying things like “you can’t criticize people, unless you could do it yourself”, which outraged most of his fan base. He was asked the question if the service was LGBT (which means lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) friendly. He always ignored the question, which caused people to be outraged at him, for thinking it wasn’t LGBT friendly. About a month later, he said his shows has Christian values, which he never brought up before, which outraged different religions. That’s like the gist of all the bad things he done in the Butch Hartman saga.
