Italy must be more pet friendly than the states. We are not aloud to take our dogs in anywhere, other than the pet store. It’s nice that Holly can go with you, and so cute that she rides the scooter.

My family own a rental property that’s like a one minute walk from the church square, along the main road there, right in front of Che Bonta. My wife and I were married last October and we were able to make it there for our honeymoon, just in time. What a wonderful video! We can’t wait to come back.

Oh Nikki. That was amazing. The trip to Praiano on empty roads! The flowers were simply beautiful. What colours! I have severe envy at the minute. I wish I was in Italy, enjoying the food and the weather. Your garden is stunning too. Very well thought out. Loving your crazy paving path now that the green is coming in.

I loved your walk! To see the roads and paths so empty is a treat! And that little inlet with that blue water was soooo tempting, makes one want to jump in straight away. I’m so glad that restrictions are being lifted little by little, and that you seem to be coming out at the other end. Here in Chile we are way behind, just getting to the peak of Covid19; so our numbers go up day by day, very distressing. The capital and some other cities are in total quarantine, but there are always irresponsible people who don’t conform to rules. Our city, Viña del Mar, is not in quarantine, although I wish it were, but we and many others try to keep home as much as possible. Best wishes and hope things continue to get better!

Happy Italy is beginning to open up. You are ahead of us. Bowl of cherries to die for. Love the pasta with the hole in it. Here on Cape Cod we are just beginning to figure out how to open beaches for the summer crowds. Our resident population goes from around 13,500 to over 75,000 summer when all the summer homes open. Love the flowers and the gardens. Lots of work but you are blessed to just walk outside your door and eat such freshness. Anxious to see how the flowers planted in the high stone wall are doing as the summer continues. Thanks for the posting.

Hi Nicki. I am amazed at the number of things that you can accomplish in a skirt/dress. LOL. Regarding salads, I don't know if you would like another recipe but....we make a salad with boiled, peeled and sliced new potatoes, cooked green beans, thinly sliced onion, salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar. It is delicious! We eat it both warm when it is first fixed and chilled if there are leftovers.
