Played this song for my father's funeral. He introduced me to Neil Diamond way back in the 60s. I remember even as a 2nd grader, humming "I'm a Believer" to myself in school often. So many years, so many songs, and so many GREAT lyrics. For years, I wouldn't even listen to anybody else's music. All Neil all the time.

Wow this guy can still sing sounding way better with vocals at 76 years old than most people today in their 20's.

Neil played this song first at our concert in Tampa back in April. But, here, he dedicated it to the children killed in the terrorist attack in Manchester, England who were attending a Ariana Grande concert there. This song is not only poignant and touching, it is Neil at his best. He is a class act and anyone who misses this tour won't know what pure magic on a concert stage is like. Just go to NEIL DIAMOND DOT COM and see where he is playing near you this year. The tour runs through the end of October.

What a guy, saw him sing this in the building where the bombing took place. It was the first major concert since Manchester Arena reopened. Afterwards he donated £50,000 to the Manchester family's fund.

I love this song....and even better by FRANK SINATRA but what does it mean? is it me or what? he just seams to be a series of one or two line sentences. each one makes sense but they aren't connected to each other. I really don't know what this song is about. Somebody smarter than me exlain it to me. LOL thanks

A bit like "Holly Holy" ...a 'stream of consciousness' song that evokes feelings rather than logically having a beginning , middle and end. Neil was a master at this.
