A true Megastar to the end…What a performance from a man in his 80s struggling with debilitating health issues.. There will never be another Neil diamond..Thank God we crossed paths in time and space.

Wonderful performer, so very sad he has this horrible illness, you can see how it affects his movement and you can hear his voice isn't so strong anymore but he still gives a wonderful performance. Saw him years back at Ashton Gate Stadium Bristol where we had front row seats and could have leaned forward to touch him. Hope you are with us for many more years Neil, you truly are a legend

My fav Neal Diamond song.. saw musical tonite for second time..Nick Fradiani nails it…like Austin did with Elvis! Neal loved Elvis! A bust of him is included in show. Neal respected Elvis!

Saw him at Leeds arena and this was the first time I had heard this - superb - but then he could sing the yellow pages and it would be just perfect to me. Number 1 entertainer every time ♥️

We heard the song for the first time in Antwerp and with all the misery all of the world I understood the silence in the concert. It was an hommage to the victoms, their relatives and the performer. Unfortunately we have to say it is beautiful

What a beautiful song Robbie and Neil … He sings it so beautiful I listen to this song seven days a week .both of those men are geniuses…1966 is the first time I heard it when he sang it with The Band ….
@donaldcook31122 жыл бұрын
@@teresapren3266 . . . We both know that '1966' is a typo , Teresa . That fortuitous collaboration with the great Robbie Robertson was from 1975 to 1977 with his production of Neil's 'Beautiful Noise' & ' Love at The Greek ' albums . A very, very special time for myself - and I 'm certain everyone else too .

Much better than the studio version on Beautiful Noise (and that's saying a lot) and millions of light years better than the version on The Last Waltz. I wonder if an instrumental version of this could be composed. Only trumpets, violins and drums. It could become a classical military derge.
@zammo544 жыл бұрын
Whats wrong with the version on the Last waltz? That was a barn-storming Performance. They were both sung under very different circumstances , and at very different points in his life. Both performances are awesome, but different.
@davidwalker50543 жыл бұрын
When i heard Neil was singing on the last waltz i thought he should not be there. i thought he was a bland radio freindly ballard singer with no edge. And did not deserve to share the stage with bob dylan and neil young but boy did he bitchslap me he blew every act out of the water he stole the show. Got to give respect to the Diamond
