The thing I love about this movie is that there is no denying that all the things these parents don't like about their children are things directly caused by their parenting. The lack of sympathy for the parents makes it much easier to laugh at their problems.

An Adam Sandler critic was complaining that his movies consist of Adam picking a place where he, his friends, and and family would like to vacation and then makes a movie there. To which I have to say, "Yeah, I think that might be true. What an awesome gig!"

That is literally the dream of everyone that’s ever lived lol. “Hey, would you want to make a movie with your best friends and family in great locations and make millions?” Sure, why not. “Okay, what about 20 of those movies while becoming an almost billionaire?” Yeah, even better.

The pregnant woman (Maya Rudolph) is alongside Sam Rockwell in The Way Way Back and it centers around a water park. Amazing coming-of-age movie that is a comedy, but touches on some serious stuff. This movie just made me think of it. What's even crazier is that the same water park is used in both movies. It's the Water Wizz in East Wareham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts and they call it the Water Wizz in both movies.
@KimC6572 ай бұрын
I didn’t realize it was the same location for both movies! I love the way way back, it’s a great movie! More serious than this one but SO good! It would be awesome if they reacted to that one. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone react to that before (but now I’m probably going to search to see if anyone has, lol)

First of all great reaction! I would love to see you guys react to its sequel Grown Ups 2. But there are a lot of Adam Sandler movies that he produces and he’s pretty much the same group of actors within. Other Adam Sandler movies I highly recommend are 50 First Dates, Blended, You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah, Here Comes the Boom, Happy Gilmore, Just Go With It, The Ridculous 6, Home Team, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, etc. My absolute favorite line from the movie is said by Salma Hayek, Roxanne. “We are skipping the dinner in Milan, spreading the ashes, and we are leaving first thing Sunday morning.” And RIP to Cameron Boyce; you should definitely check out Disney’s Descendants franchise which stars him and China Anne McLain!!! 😂🥹💙🩵🤍

Grown Ups 2 is just as good, and has even crazier stuff they do. So, if you liked this, you will definitely like the second one. When it comes to what I would like to see you guys react to, it's not really a specific genre. I love almost all movie genres. I am really wanting to see movies that no one reacts to, that are just as good or better than the ones everyone does. Here are some that people haven't reacted to, but should. Save this list. Project X (1987) comedy, drama, sci-fi, thriller Matthew Broderick, Helen Hunt An Air Force pilot joins a top secret military experiment involving chimps, but begins to suspect there might be something more to the mysterious "Project X". Johnny Dangerously (1984) parody, comedy, crime Michael Keaton, Joe Piscopo, Marilu Henner Set in the 1930s, an honest, good-hearted man is forced to turn to a life of crime to finance his neurotic mother's sky-rocketing medical bills. The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) action, drama Helen Slater and Christian Slater With her brother falsely accused of attempted murder, a blonde Texas teenage stunner---victim herself of attempted assault---becomes a famous outlaw martyr, as both of them run away with friends, and try to clear their name. Cruel Intentions (1999) dark romance, psychological drama, drama, romance Sarah Michelle Geller, Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon Two vicious step-siblings of an elite Manhattan prep school make a wager: to deflower the new headmaster's daughter before the start of term. The Wraith (1986) action, horror, romance, sci-fi, thriller Charlie Sheen, Nick Cassavetes and Sherilyn Fenn In a small town in Arizona, a mysterious man/spirit descends from the sky and manifests in a sports car and targets a local violent road-racing gang of motor heads, headed by a ruthless bully who'll do anything to get what he wants. The Heavenly Kid (1985) comedy, romance, fantasy Lewis Smith In order to earn his wings and get into heaven, a hip guardian angel is handed the task of watching over a lonely high school boy who needs guidance on how to fit in. Lucas (1986) coming-of-age, teen comedy, teen drama, teen romance Corey Haim, Charlie Sheen, Kerri Green A socially inept fourteen-year-old experiences heartbreak for the first time when his two best friends - Cappie, an older-brother figure, and Maggie, the new girl with whom he is in love - fall for each other. Cry-Baby (1999) comedy, musical Johnny Depp, Ricki Lake, Amy Locane In 1950s Baltimore, a bad boy with a heart of gold wins the love of a good girl, whose boyfriend sets out for revenge. Real Men (1987) buddy comedy, action, sci-fi Jim Belushi and Jon Ritter A womanizing CIA agent and an insecure insurance agent are paired together to make sure a deal goes through with aliens for the future of mankind. Encino Man (1992) slapstick, comedy Sean Astin, Brendan Fraser and Pauly Shore When they find a frozen caveman in their back yard, two high school outcasts thaw him and introduce him to modern life while he in turn gets them to actually enjoy life. Drop Dead Fred (1991) dark comedy, slapstick, comedy, drama, fantasy Phoebe Cates, Marsha Mason and Rik Mayall A young woman finds her already unstable life rocked by the presence of a rambunctious imaginary friend from childhood. Mo' Money (1992) action, comedy, romance, crime, thriller Damon Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Stacy Dash A con man, seeking to gain the affections of a woman he saw entering an office building, aquires a job in the same building working for an executive who has plans to use his skills for more than just the workplace. Little Monsters (1989) adventure, comedy, family, fantasy Fred Savage, Howie Mandell A boy discovers an incredible and gruesome world of monsters under his bed. North (1994) family, comedy, drama, fantasy, adventure, satire Elijah Wood, Bruce Willis and many more Sick of the neglect he receives from his mom and dad, a young boy leaves home and travels the world in search of new parents. Wild America (1997) action, comedy, drama, family Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Devon Sawa, Scott Bairstow Three brothers who are obsessed with animals are given permission from their parents to travel around America with a camera documenting wildlife. The Little Rascals (1994) comedy, family, romance Travis Tedford, Bug Hall, Brittany Ashton Holmes Alfalfa is wooing Darla and his "He-Man-Woman-Hating" friends attempt to sabotage the relationship.

Man your wife is way too sweet and it's super funny the fact that she's defending some of these people is hilarious and I love it that just shows that she's a good person.. I love it because clearly it's a comedy and it's an Adam Sandler comedy which means 90% of the cast are it is very close friends that he works with in almost every movie and outside of movies they are friends and again it's comedy it's supposed to be like this teasing and mean and gross and out of your comfort zone, so it's great to see a kind-hearted Soul like her

Any Adam Sandler & friends movie is worth a watch but I have a couple that were part of his contract with Netflix and were largely overlooked: One that Adam did was a parody loosely based on Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight" called "The Ridiculous Six" (2015). There was some controversy surrounding making the movie but it contains most of the Sandler Posse at their silly best and is definitely worth a watch. The other would be perfect with Halloween just over a month away. It's 2020s "Hubie Halloween". It isn't a movie that would win any big awards but it has a lot of the usual gang and is Sandler at one with his funny goofy self making a nice comedic break for your Halloween movie binge. Thank you for your wonderfully entertaining reactions. I look forward to more 👍🧛♂👏.
