My man, I lost it when he said that shit. I’m 42, three kids, youngest is my girl. I didn’t lose my shit when my grandmother died, or my best friend, and I loved them both. I lose my shit when I watch this stuff. He would’ve never stopped giving us more. People may argue the GOAT, but Kobe took parenting and his outside endeavors with the same intensity and fire as his on-court accomplishments.

This is one of the best sports documentaries I’ve ever seen. The fact that you took the time to pull these random interviews/podcasts together and had the footage, even from moments in practice to accompany most of the stories must have taken an incredible amount of time and effort. Kobe knew subconsciously that he would only have 41 years to live. He worked like he's on borrowed time hence you never heard any longing or missing the game when he retired. He was truly done, he knew he did ALL he can in the time he was in the NBA. His life was a compressed hive of efficiency and accomplished goals. He knew, he knew he didn't have much time.
