FYI time rift for tricksters is now bugged. It wont do damage outside of the first hit when used on bosses. After you use it once it wont damage the boss again the next time you use it. DocJoc and I tested this on our streams today.

For people who are struggling to get gear. Try doing trials on level 1 or 2 and farm until you get a good piece of gear or weapon then just level it up to your max level. You will have to do a ton of expeditions to get pods and resources but if you don’t have a problem with that then try it. I was able to get most of my tier 3 mods AND 2 pieces of shield beast gear doing this for a couple hours solo. The gear is level 31 but it won’t be for long.

Killing Mobs: Inferno with Perpetuum/Overwhelming wins but they die from aoe or two shot anyways Killing Elites: Inferno w/P+O wins if you crit Killing bosses: Inferno Specral Spike wins unless you can kill the boss in under 9 seconds Only time Eveningstar beats Inferno with either build is if you do not crit (might as well run DS) which should actually compliment your use of time Rift over venators. I rolled pretty good gloves. Gauntlets of Cannonball. Captain Hunter (Elites take 16% extra damage) Personal Space (12% close damage) My third ended up being an introvert which increases close range by 2 meters. Only things i need to improve are gloves, boots, and guns.

Mage’s Rage Fixed a bug that was causing unforeseen issues with the amount of stacks and the Anomaly Power calculation Fixed a bug that was preventing stacks from dropping away as intended when player's swapped weapons Explanation: Mage’s Rage provided over twice of what it was supposed to give in terms of Anomaly Power. This change sets the mod into the right place power-wise. While this change may feel significant for any players who were exclusively relying on Mage's Rage, our overall balancing has ensured that not all the excess power has been lost. Rather, it has flowed into other mods and combinations in order to provide a greater spread of viable builds.

The only thing I will say about knife vs rift is that you can mod HtP to have no cooldown on targets marked with knife, so you can just teleport around the battlefield with a high bullet damage gun to take advantage of that 30% bonus. Limited us on bosses obviously but it's cool to feel like nightcrawler from the opening scene of X2

I started running this with the bulwark with t3 bleed bullets and t3 bleed mod. 10-14M crits. This build is a beast with the right auto shotguns. Distance doesn’t even matter with all the anomaly power really

@@AlexBaffo for sure! Would recommend focusing on general mods like captain hunter personal space and shogun or AR buffs first. The status mods are good but seem to be better on bosses. The general mods will suit you better until you can start the fine tuning. Hope that makes sense, feels kinda rambly lol

Highly recommend And Another One. Underrated mod especially for Arbiter. Basically infinite ammo. Rather than losing time jumping for more ammo, you can hold down a steady stream of crits to Arbiter.

Ur damage shoots through the roof every time you hunt the prey or/and timerift so you might as well just hunt the prey every time it’s available for Arbiter

For me I see much better damage when I hunt the prey and timerift whenever possible especially timerift because of little bit of pain and geigers wave. I only use instant reload when it comes to keeping rounds

Damn some of you guys go deep with this. I've just been playing with same class build as before the dlc, all along the top tree, and trying to find gear and mod combos that work well with it. Never even considered anything but a damage build would do more actaul damage, shows what I kmow. Mine is doing well at my max world tier but nothing like this. I'm a stubborn person and am really bad about experimenting once I find something I like. There's just so much to consider when changing everything that I lose too much game time. My best gun right now is the boulderings pistols with til death do us part, claymore torrent and Nikolas revenge, it's a pretty high percentage roll too, like in the 90s, and it destroys enemies when they're grouped up which I thought was good until I saw this, my shit Is a joke now lol. Might have to try this thanks

As crazy as this build is, the only thing that matters is, if your build something you like and it's fun. I focused on a lightning build for my trickster and all I'm doing is tweaking it to make it better, it may not be the best build but it sure is a fun build. It does damage, I don't die and it's super flashy, it's a win win in my book lol

Just want to add, from a little testing I don’t think you actually have to hit anything with your melee for the AP boost. Could be wrong but checking AP after just throwing a melee in the air increases it

You're using anomaly echo. The melee has to hit enemies for the 30%

@@NickTew I am using anomaly echo. When I use the melee skill AP goes from 630-809. Which anomaly echo “says” 84,899 (not sure if it’s actually more). Anomaly scything says “activating” as well so it’s a little confusing. 630k-809 isn’t exactly 30% so I’m going to go with your answer 😂 thanks

hey ive been using this build for a couple days and ive noticed mages rage still activiates if you switch your weapon so what i was thinking was getting a god rolled gun without mages rage and replace it with embalmers rage or gravediggers frenzy p.s give me your pants!! been grinding for days now trying to get those trousers and havent gotten one :(

What about running No Resistance Against The Fortified and armor pierce on your guns? Shouldn't that actually give much higher returns (at least on bosses) than crit damage because you're practically nullifying the enemy's damage reduction at that point ? EDIT: Can you make a list of skill that snapshot? It doesn't seem like all skills do, for example Technomancer turrets seem to fluctuate with your AP for the entire duration whereas I can see why TR remains static due to the wording/nature of the skill.

Unless game changed, blue items comes with tier I mods, so you did not get dum-dum on the blue boots... You probably found purple with that mod, not blue :)

Been using this a bit, it is super powerful. Only downside is you gotta get the buffs going all the time on every map and zone, it just gets a bit of a hassle :P

Maxing your shield before popping twisted rounds is the biggest annoyance. Venators with trophy helps, also let's you get easy headshots compared to time Rift which makes headshots harder.

I was running a similar build, but with today's update, I am leaning towards fortress since it had gotten a buff and mages had been fixed. Last night I was hitting about 4.5 on crits, however today my damage is closer to 2mil on tier 25. I will swap to fortress tonight and see how it compares

After swapping to fortress, damage fell off quite a bit to closer to 1.5 million using the same build. However with the firepower increased in the tree, I feel after more experimenting the conclusion will be to focus on fortress and sharp eye etc.

Hi Nick, isnt it better to get vulnerability on HTP and use the Fatal Symbiont? mine has mage rage apoc on it. so i rolled the non Dark Sacrifice skill to Anomaly enhancement. isnt that a seperate 25% multiplier? also the armor pierce from the Fatal Symbiont gets converted to resistance pierce. which also means 15% more AP from Unstoppable Force and 15% more crit damage from Resistance Piercer. So you are Technically trading 30% crit damage for 15% crit damage and 15% AP and 30% more resistance pierce. I'd love to go over what I did with the Trickster Build with you. Started off your original Vid on this build. Kind Regards

It's a decent option but you're basically trading all these mods to make it as good as torturer already is. Also it's like 70% CRIT damage on the gun at my apoc level, hard to beat that.

thoughts on the anomalic caliber / unstop / achilees heel combo being worth 3 slots? its hard to test as you say. as some of my 3rd perks havce been these im using the 3 as a priority over one or two of the 'core' mods. but still have most of the important ones. just hard to see if its worth the bonus or striaght damage persks would be better

@Nick - For some reason after doing the snapshot and activating twisted rounds, the firepower now drops off even though twisted rounds is still on. Perhaps the latest patch update has something to do with it

Hello NickTew, nice video as ever, big fan here. Why is no one using borrowed time instead of hunt the pray for shield beast fp trickster build? Borrowed time has lower cooldown, generates way more shield and has reduces existing cooldown as well as the next. That‘s a big damage boost, because you have nearly always full shield, more often „a litte bit of pain „ and you don‘t have to repositioning every 10 seconds. You need hunt the pray only for bosses, but of you need more then 60 bosses something is wrong with the build. But when it happens accidently, you just use borrowed to decrease the cooldown

Ammo mod, the cooldown only activates when you actually use the skill so you lose a lot of uptime on the extra AP % node, and I like HTP for mobbing. Feel free to use it if you want but I don't like it.

@@NickTew I mean activating and instantly deactivating the skill after using the of the deception skill, so the deception skill lowers by 30 % with the borrowed time T3 Mod. So u have the deception skill much more often and the cooldown from borrowed time is shorter then htp

I am sorry HtP is the GOAT (even with the bugs). It doesn’t need mods to be useful vs. Borrowed time. It covers huge amounts of the field, it dodges and it gives shield. With mods instant reload makes this build practically perfect. If you want vulnerability with trickster use the claws mod, and if you aren’t using it for 30% AP boost then you’re missing one of the stronger points of the trickster. Teleport+ punch+ slow= makes head shots easy…

If you activate and deactivate borrowed time then you‘re using a mobility skill too and have a damn low cooldown to activate it again… and it gives more shield then HTP plus you decrease the existing cooldown of the deception skill.

Shield beast could still provide a lot ap, and mages rage, even nerfed, still works bot not op anymore, for usual enemy it works fine, just get little slower for boss fight
