So in Stimpy's Invention, just press Up and A together to switch between playing as Ren or Stimpy - it's a whole new move set from there! It can also be played with two players at once.

I'd also recommend Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, it's the best Nicktoons crossover game and has the biggest range of characters. Fun fact, the composer for that game went onto work on the Doom and Wolfenstein games at Bethesda. In terms of Spongebob games, Creature from the Krusty Krab has one of the most unique takes on a licensed kids IP out there. It's very unique in a good way.

As a fellow 90's kid, I appreciate this video Jim! Rented Aaaaaaah! Real Monsters! and Ren & Stimpy's "Veediots" and Timewarp growing up. Like you said, none are particularly amazing games, but they looked great. Ahhhh the 90's, what a time to be alive.

What a great choice for a video! RaS and Rocko are definitely my favorite nicktoons and I rewatch the DVDs every few years. As a kid I had Stimpy's Invention and my best friend and I played the ever loving crap out of it and I still own a boxed copy❤ it can be hard as balls but it's still a super enjoyable game today for me. Clearly because of nostalgia hehe. I don't think I ever got a chance to play any others and I really need to buy them now

That's funny, a lot of early Nick programming was Canadian. "You Can't Do That on TV" and "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" for example.

I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway, Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. I can't wait to play Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland when it releases. I'm hoping that a Nickelodeon Kart Racers 4 comes out later this year. Nickelodeon and Gamemill Entertainment love releasing a new installment every two years. I wish Nickelodeon would give us more games outside of just kart racers and platform fighters. I wanna see a party game, a tennis game, and a fifth game in the Nicktoons Unite series. A new Nicktoons Unite game is long overdue.

@MadPanicGaming I grew up playing Mario Power Tennis and Sega Superstars Tennis. I started playing Hot Shots Tennis last year and that game is great too. Nickelodeon did release a mobile tennis game on the apple store, but I don't really play mobile games. I want a tennis from them on consoles.

I think a Rocko beat em up could be cool. Three playable characters, boss battles against Mr. Bighead and Rocko's boss, Spunky and parking meters as power ups, that could work.

I think I had the most experience with the ren & stimpy series of games... genesis stimpy's invention is probably the best one of the lot (given how TH*Q had no involvement whatsoever with that one) admittedly I haven't played much else of the other nicktoons games beyond the first smash bros. like, though you'd have to be into that kinda game to enjoy it! haven't played the sequel but the first one was pretty alright. the kart ones seem kinda fun though maybe it should be on my radar?

I've only played he third one, I'd say if you can find it for like $20 then go for it, it's a decent game but doesn't hold a candle to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The DS 2D side scroller trilogy kicked ass. Thanks Natsume. Battle for Volcano Island was good but I’d say Attack of the Toybots was probably my least favourite. I remember getting Globs of Doom (the DS version) as a Christmas present back in 2009 and thought it was cool. The soundtrack was especially good. Not to mention, GoD’s menu sound effects (the selection ones in particular moving up and down) were ripped from Medarot 2’s remake on the Game Boy Advance!
