As a life long Liverpool fan, I grew up watching both eras of each club being at their greatest, but you have to admire the era these lads were in. Rivalry aside, it’s just an admiration for passion and application in the end and the red side of each city has it in spades. Great podcast gents 👏🏻

Nicky hits the nail on the head when he says "and we lived through that"( Liverpool winning everything)... I got labelled a glory hunter on many occasions but I was 15 years old before I saw my beloved club win the league. My kid memories other than 1990 and 91 under ferguson and the Ron Atkinson fa cup we had nothing other than Liverpool defeats for memories like Michael Thomas scoring to win the league for arsenal at anfield or Wimbledon beating them at Wembley or even crystal Palace beating them in the semi just months after being battered in the league so no matter how bad things are now, it's been worse

We must be a similar age, born in 78...and you described my childhood experience of following united perfectly, I remember celebrating Palace and Wimbledon wins as hard as any united success (probably with the exception of arsenal fa cup win and 99 champs league win) because Liverpool were so dominant and just wanted anyone to beat them.
