The joke was really funny, but I almost wish Nicky didn't do it, now most of the comments aren't about the champion, and it's all about how long it took people to realize it's Gragas. I love reading what people think about the champions (especially their lore) in the comments, here there's almost none of it, which is a really big shame because Kataraina is one of my favorite characters lorewise, and I like reading what others think about her. But no, tell me for the 50th time how long it took you to realize it's Gragas. Anyway, I liked Katarina before the comic, but it was sometimes hard to justify my love for her character, because I still thought her character was a bit too cliche (the cold, edgy, hot female assassin), her voice lines are quite basic and boring (and some are even cringe), but when the comic came out, my love for Katarina's lore rekindled. The comic added so much to her personality and just her character in general, that now I think she's a really good character. I don't mind her gameplay, she was my first main back in 2014. I don't play her as much anymore but I still think her gameplay is quite fun. I also don't think she's nearly as broken as many other champions in the game. Yea she can build pretty much anything and maybe she shouldn't but still, I don't think it makes her OP level kinds of broken. She's frustrating to play against, but it's not like she requires no skill. Some people say Katarina is only mashing buttons and pentakill, but it's really not. Maybe before her rework it was true, but now she's not THAT easy. Definitely not one of the most difficult champions either, but she's not braindead. Only if you get really fed then you can basically just mash buttons and get ez kills, but that works with so many champions. She also gets so easily bullied during laning phase against a lot of champions, that's why she often has to rely on ganking other lanes. So yea, I think her gameplay is fine, could use some tuning, maybe restrict her builds a little but I don't think she needs nerfs or anything. And again, this is not me defending my main, I just have some experience with her.

she does play pretty differently depending on the build tho, and understanding what each build is capable of, what fights u can take etc are a part of that. its not as extreme as someone like kogmaw as you said, but its not the same either, u max e with ad and q for ap, stuff like that

As a Katarina main, I'm offended. I'm also an Anivia main and one of the few who has no trouble fighting her. *Key reasons why she's not too broken* A. Incredibly weak laning phase, and All her abilities are point and click or requires you to be on enemy, and her only ability is 8 seconds at lvl 1. Farming isn't the strongest either, she prefers farming champions over CS. B. Yes, the On-hit they gave her when the items changed did make her more problematic, and this is from a Katarina main, I prefer her before she got all that, and deaths dance worked on her back then too. I still don't go AD and stay AP till my last item, and thats only if necessary. C. The same reason she's hardly ever seen in pro play is why she's not completely broken, a well coordinated team shuts her down by A LOT. Especially if they prey on her weak laning phase to get her behind.

As a Kat main I was excited to see you try to play her but admittedly this bit is funny asf 💀 at least I got to hear about her lore Also I will say her lane phase is extremely weak unless you build AD and even then it’s weak pre level 6. The lack of range, CC, sustain, and poke makes a lot of matchups very difficult which is why Kat’s roam so much. Idk what riot was smoking giving her on hits tho. I’ll admit it’s fun and makes her more viable especially since they took out gunblade but it leads to a lot of unhealthy builds where she’s too tanky

Like Thresh Hot demon skin shouldn't work with his character due to well he's a pathetic bastard BUT since it's a different universe with a different story the skin works fine with it's sexual appeal, I had an immdate concept of leaining into a scaroused appeal she can bring, Like Devlish cat Katarina where she becomes a bodmorphing Paralyes demon that has a facination with her "owner" Garen. he blades she ripps out her arms or paws, She has the typical large Sharp Grin and Kitten eyes and technically it is a furry skin BUt for good reason as she's recontexilized. This makes a different character(as I agree with Tbskyen if your gonna pay for them a skin should allow you to play a different character) which uses part of her appeal into it's story and leans more sexually into fear like thresh. Were thresh was more so the hot monster having the hot bod, Katarina is a monster in looks and thats what makes her attractive. A concept like that to actually add a unique appeal to it, instead of bland iterations.
