In 1985 so he was 60 here. How many opera singers who manage to sing like this in their 60s? Very few and Gedda continued to do this in his 70s. The man was a gift from opera heaven and now he is up there and I hope he was pleased with all of wonderful singings that he has masterfully done back here on earth.
