Don't get me wrong I like Nick Cage but I always felt like he used Lisa Marie as a "property", any chance Cage could he would go into the spotlight w/his "collective property" Cage was as we know "overly avid" fan of his, I think Cage was/is obsessed w/the Legendary of Elvis Presley. I do however think Nick/Lisa were better as friends; there were rumors floating around that Lisa and Michael would talk on the phone (while married to Nick); I also heard she and the kids visited them as well at Michael's mansion, and the children loved it and also loved/missed Michael; he could tell she was unhappy so she told Michael that its not working out w/Nick. I heard all of this right after Michael died from diff sources on the internet. Not sure what to believe but I could TELL Lisa was unhappy especially in photos w/Cage. She always looked uncomfortable, lost, deep in thought, etc. Yeah they are friends now but I can why she divorced Nic; she felt my like a prize and/or collection that Cage won from his idol Elvis Presley. I know she always loved Michael (funeral pictures tell it all), Lisa hated the leeches hanging around Michael - it was just like her father again. Michael even predicted she said out of the blue I will probably die like your father did. Now this was known for awhile so just google the key words.
