Why am i nearly in tears, watching the interaction with young Roddie, his eyes are shining and cheeks rosy being outside and not stuck inside glued to a screen. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much for you all showing such kindness to Roddie. He is absolutely beaming and is even more eager to either become an archaeologist... or a prime minister....! it will forever be a special memory for him so thank you x

Whichever road he takes in life knowing history is important for if he ever was to become prime minister knowing the mistakes made in the past would keep him from remaking them thus making him more successful....keep doing what your doing to encourage him ....he seems to be a fine young man....Karl from eastern Canada 👍👍👍❤❤❤

Happy New Year! I’m glad that 2024 is over as I lost both my mom and dad. And my husband was battling cancer. He is now in remission. But Nicole your videos throughout the year. Made the time go smoother for me and help me through some of these tough times. I truly enjoy watching and discovering through your lens. May this new year we all be blessed with good health, joy and happiness. Keep on finding the treasures and telling there history. Much Love, from Buckeye, AZ

It looks like a matchbox, a rather waterproof one. I was clueless until I saw the odd ornamentation on one side--I realized it was not ornamentation but an abrasive surface for the striking of matches. Is that it? Aha! So I was deceived by its appearance. Which explains why I stopped getting married.

Hi Nicola, gosh meeting Roddy was such a blessing. It bought back memories of my little brother, also called Roddy, who died 2 years ago on Dec 22nd. He like me loved watching your channel and many others, and we both loved going to thrift shops too. But mudlarking was the thing that we'd watch together, when he visited, as he didn't have youtube. Thanks for reminding me of our love of this and how we found everything so interesting. ❤🎉

Always a pleasure seeing the "Pipe Whisperer" at work! Very impressed with many of your finds. The glass items were amazing with the obligatory hold it to the sky and the sunshine! I liked the bird on the ceramic and the poem. I've always admired anyone who could recite a poem that exactly fit the situation. The black jumper (we Americans call it a sweater🤠) was quite stunning, Really set off your hair. Your walks on the foreshore and with your friends--young and old, are always a joy!! Hello Nicola, I love to watch you find such wonderful items ,when you found the bird on the piece of pottery it was amazing you see I lost my beautiful parrot Wilson yesterday ,he was my best friend and my whole life. He was 25 years old, I rescued him 7 years ago and he has been with me everyday and watch your videos with me. I am broken hearted and in a lot of pain, missing him so much. Then I saw an E on the brick right after that and I lost it. I think it was a sign from him that he is ok. My God help me get through this, my year has started off very bad. Thank you for what you do. It means a lot to me😢

Hello 👋🏼 Nicola, the black bird 🐦⬛ in the beginning had me in awe 🫢. I couldn’t believe how it lifted the rock with its beck. I never saw that before! I am so satisfied when I see you finding history at the Thames Foreshore. I wish I had the opportunity to visit with you. Money is always the problem so it’s not possible. I need to find somewhere here old enough to find relics and history. Thanks for your videos this year will definitely be interesting. Have a fantastic week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Nicola, You're back!!! I'm so happy to watch something knew. You've been dearly missed. I hope you had a marvelous time while you were away!!! You had many wonderful finds today, my favorite was your first ring and I think it had a green paste stone. Do you heat them up and make them round again? That is a good idea to make a stamp from a bottle stopper, hope it works out for you. Take care and stay safe.
