This video visits the locations of Nicole Brown Simpson and Sharon Tate. I also go to various sites where the killers went after committing their crimes.

I was also practicing filming for the first time while on my bike. Not easy. Here in Aug 2019. Just watched "Once upon a time in Hollywood ". Great new Tarantino movie!
@caroleehubbard83804 жыл бұрын
Glow Bright It's a complex storyline (if you know Tarantino, his films are always very complex) but, the story basically follows the lives of a fading star ex-Hollywood western actor (DiCaprio) and his faithful friend and stunt double (Brad Pitt) thru the summer of August 1969 in LA. The main story characters cross paths with the famous Manson Family and entwines with the infamous Sharon Tate and 5 friends murders that took place that insane night on August 9, 1969. Suggest you read Helter Skelter or watch the movie Helter Skelter or any documentary about the Manson Murders prior to this film to gain a real understanding of the true life Manson murders of the Tate / LaBiana families. This new Tarantino film..changes the original real outcome of the real event to a more let's say satisfying end to the story.

I lived in Lancaster, OH and knew Bill Garretson. He lived in the Tate guest house the night of the murders. He told me the whole story of hitchhiking to California, getting a job as the caretaker, meeting Steve while hitchhiking around LA and wanting to buy a stereo he was selling and waking up and seeing the bodies in the morning and being arrested for the murders. I though he was full of shit because he was just a drunk alcoholic old man when I knew him. It wasn't until years later after reading the book Helter Skelter and hearing an interviewer talk about traveling to see him in Lancaster, OH I realized he actually told me the truth. It was still kinda hard to believe it was him because he was called William in all the Manson stories but I only knew him as Bill plus people said he didn't like to talk about it. However he told me everything and we talked about it for several hours one night while drinking. Maybe that experience along with his divorce and son's death played a part in his severe drinking habit. Bill was a funny and great guy I'm glad I knew him.

@@forresthaggertychannel4301 A little bit after Steve left he said he thought it sounded like Steve's car backfired and a bit later he thought he heard screaming but wasn't really sure. Later on he thought someone was trying to open the door and he thought he heard people/ someone walking around outside. He said he was scared and didn't feel comfortable with the situation. He said he just played music and wrote some letters to keep his mind busy and kept the dogs close. Earlier in the day he said he was picked up hitchhiking by some "hippies" in a van who dropped him off at the house and said they were friends of the people who lived there. I asked Bill if he knew Sharon Tate but he said he didn't know who the people who lived in the main house were and he only saw them once or twice while coming and going and only waved to them.

@@forresthaggertychannel4301 I found Patricia Krenwinkel's story from that night. She testified that after being ordered to kill everyone in the guesthouse by Tex Watson, she thought something “didn’t feel right” when she tried to enter the residence and found the door locked, so she returned to Watson and told him the house was empty without ever going inside. They thought they had already killed the houseboy when they shot Stephen Parent.

The reporter Al Wiman retraced the route they took leaving the scene. He was the first reporter at the crime scene. The Police couldn't find the bloody clothes so he thought he'd try. So he drove down the road for 6 minutes from the driveway, stopped almost exactly where they stopped, looked down the embankment and there they were.

The Tate house was demolished, because it's been said that when Rudy Altobelli, the original owner sold it, it was pretty run down and a bit beat up by that point. In fact, I've read that it was a bit shabby when Tate and Polanski lived there. However, the monstrosity that was built in its place is gaudy.
@davidwilliams22794 жыл бұрын
That guy Altobelli was a real pos. Right after Sharons funeral he had his lawyers send a letter to her parents Paul and Doris threatening legal action against Sharons estate if the house wasn't cleaned and returned to a suitable condition to be shown. Apparently crime scene cleaners weren't a thing then. So her dad had to clean and replace carpeting including the word "pig" written in her blood on the front door.
@stephaniebaker15424 жыл бұрын
williams I've heard that. That the landlord actually engaged in some victim blaming and billed Polanski for cleaning up his pregnant wife's murder. I found that whole thing a cheap shot at getting his place fixed up, because Altobelli KNEW that it wasn't the Polanski's fault

I don't understand why people make such a big deal of where people died at. That's life. Death is going to happen to us all.

Sharon also had a life here in England for a while during the 1960's and made films here. She was interviewed around Carnaby Street in London [on YT], married, Polanski on 20th Jan 1968 at Royal Kensington Offices for civil marriages [here plus another one on YT] and lived with RP at a Mews house off Eaton Square in London for a while. Sad it's only the American ST we always hear about - I aim to go and see the Royal Kensington Offices one day, plus where they used to live. I corresponded with 2 actors who starred in films directed by Polanski !!!!

I cant believe how beautiful nichole was. She loved her life with her kids and also seemed very sweet and full of life oj did not appreciate what a gem he had in her. He is a horrible human being. Also ron goldman very handsome and a decent young man he tried to help nichole.a very promising young life cut shirt too. A horrible tragedy. Toi horrible to put into words. I know how these families feel because I lost my 23 year old sister in the same way. The ridiculous dog and pony show kangaroo court which was the simpson trial shows just how a absolutely corrupt and disgusting our crimminal justice system is. All the defense attorneys want to do is wiggle their client out of the most heinous crime so they can get rich.

May I recommend the tour from Dearly Departed which covers the Tate-LaBianca murders. It’s a very good tour, very informative. The tour guide name is Scott Michaels. I asked him how much research did he do on this case, he said 25 years! However, I will not ever take his upcoming tour of Nicole Brown Simpson’s place. My personal choice

Those neighboring homes just outside the gate on Cielo....jeez so creepy knowing those killers walked past their houses that night covered in blood and 5 feet away from their bedroom windows....yikes!!

@@forresthaggertychannel4301 I really appreciate that. I was born, and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and my Dad was the chief editor for the Times. I can't find anything on the Manson caves, and don't think many people know about them. When I was a teenager my friends, and I would go to where Spawn ranch was. There is caves that go on what seemed like forever. We always heard it was where the family would hide when the police came. Thank you again for making these videos.

Sharon Tate didn't deserve what happened to her, all she wanted to do is just have her baby. Someone killing a beautiful pregnant woman.

@@MrParkerman6 How can you say that I'm stupid. How was I supposed to say that Sharon Tate was married to a raprist. You are heartless to say that Sharon Tate was not beautiful. She was pregnant and got killed by of one of the members of the famous Mansion family.
