Spot on! Since the man is the head of the household (as the Bible states) I see the man as the prophet of a family. A man will sense his future wife (his prophetic signal will go off) and seek her. In today's culture we are taught to go after what you want, but when you do things God's way you will get God's blessings.

I left a pretty normal comment here but got deleted. All I said is that as a society we value worth by company and as a church we many times value families or someone who has kids or was married a lot higher than folks who have never been married... so many young Christians get married because they have to in order to have sex and 50% of them end up in divorce just like the world.. Many times churches put a greater focus on families because there is a greater return for them than just one individual. That’s not necessarily wrong it’s just a world mindset at times... no one is perfect... a great movie is called “ Spinster”, hilarious but not religious so may offend religious people...So many of us want to get married but so many us including me don’t want to deal with the other’s person’s baggage which is problematic to not deal with including ours... A great quote from a great movie “ Some kind of Wonderful” with Lea Thompson, “I’d rather be alone for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong ones”... so true

Love this comment i couldn’t agree more
@noirfit97214 жыл бұрын
Yes, the church also looks down on divorced people. Someone I grew up with from my church jokingly told me I now wore the scarlet letter. I don’t see divorce as a bad thing when I know I did my best to save my marriages. I got married young, almost the same ages as both my exes. One was a cheater, the other was abusive. I’m happily single and awaiting my little love to enter the world.
@teohproject4 жыл бұрын
Blossom Blitz There is totally no offense on my part but no I don’t agree that I was “ right” or “ wrong”, it was just my comment, my observation. The church is Gods beloved and with or without a dude or kids I’m part of that. Marriage of course is beautiful but hard, the rain falls on the just and the unjust and I looked up the percentage of marriage and it said 50% of them end in divorce, that is Christian or nonChristian but perhaps my search engine is wrong, I’m not infallible whatever percentage is right or wrong, divorces in the church are still high but that doesn’t determine each couples outcome, God does. But the sex issue is a huge one because as a church we don’t talk about what happens when some hormones fade, when porn becomes an issue, when money, a mortgage, taking care of aging parents, kids college tuitionmounts and the young beautiful sexy feelings fade a bit... the weight of life can take a marriage out but going into with yes awesome sexy feelings is great but knowing that the ultimate partner who holds you and your spouse together is the one who make can a marriage work. The daughters of Zelophehad got God to change an Old Testament law and that was before they were married. Puah and Shiprah loved God before their own lives and god rewarded them with their own families. They weren’t feminists but they were alone with God for the right reasons than just married for the wrong reasons even though the cultural pressures were high for them to be married. Marriage is great but reality checks at points in relationships can be life and marriage savers! God bless and at the end of the day the only thing that matters is what God is leading you to do, my voice is only an opinion, only a thought but his word endures forever!
@Demetra3214 жыл бұрын
Hi, Linda. I have been married for 20 years. That said, I agree, Linda with you. The church as a whole has turned marriage, a good thing, into the ultimate thing (an idol). The goal is a relationship with Christ, not marriage.

I agree. I'm not fond of dating multiple people (men). That doesn't feel right. Holding one guys hand today and a different guys hand tomorrow 😖 I believe God never meant for man and woman to be alone and the right union will happen at the right time. Therefore, I believe there's a Boaz out their for every woman; a gentlemen with gentle-man ways. And like Ruth, let him pursue us ..ladies we're WORTH IT!

@Kristina Nortez I am so sorry my beloved sister, but I come bearing BAD news.. There's Unfortunately not going to ever be a Boaz out there for every woman. There's men in jail,some on drugs, some gay,some broken and some taken. To top it all off, NIV Isaiah 4:1 says "IN THAT DAY,SEVEN WOMEN WILL TAKE HOLD OF ONE MAN AND SAY," WE WILL EAT OUR OWN FOOD AND PROVIDE OUR OWN CLOTHES;ONLY LET US BE CALLED BY YOUR NAME TO TAKE AWAY OUR DISGRACE"...other versions are a tad bit harsh but yeah,not every woman will be married. There's so few eligible men out there. I mean, you don't want to just get married for the sake of being married right? As I said,I'm sorry to have brought such heavy news:( all the best to you my beloved sister. May the Most High favour you with a good man suitable for you.. So be it..

Now, they're married. (Says a lot for Unfortunately...hmm😳) He did it for them (my best friends), I know he'll do it for me & others that BELIEVE! I do agree not all woman will marry because that is also by choice. However, I do believe there is a Boaz out there for all. With our God ( the God I serve) all things are possible. God Bless.

It could be that you are more comfortable in your Masculine energy than the Feminine. And it's nothing wrong with that. All people have both energies but one is more predominant than the other. Masculine energy is al about Doing, Pursueing. Feminine energy is about Being, Receiving. And in order for a relationship to work, both people has to have opposite energies. So as a woman if your predominant energy is the masculine than you would match better with a man whose predominant energy is the feminine. In my case my predominant energy is feminine. And I feel much happier and fullfilled in a relationship where the man operates with the masculine energy. Where he would lead me, pursue me etc. In the past I dated 2 men with more feminine energy and those relationships never worked out.

Great talk ladies! I just want to say along with understanding a man pursues a woman, it's important for us as women to constantly seek God for discretion about what Spirit that man is pursuing us with and if it's the will of God to agree to a long term commitment as we spend more time with him or not. Heart and mind guarding is so crucial so we aren't distracted by what we want versus what God teaches us we need. I say this because God has told me to tell men no over the years and I may have had in my heart things I saw as good qualities in them but God knows that man's heart. Plus God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours! We just know what a man tells us but need to be in tuned with the Holy Spirit to hear what God is saying about His will even when it comes to that man and what things is okay to agree with as we deal with them.
@misspriss24824 жыл бұрын
Sister, I was just about to make this comment. You hit the nail on the head. I also believe that a lot of Christian men and women are still single because they are so hung up on their lists that they are not open to God or His leading.
@1985tmc4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! So deep! We have to read God's word to understand God's purpose for marriage which is to glorify Him. Lately, I have been pondering how we don't get the same outcome rebelling against God's call as we would obeying God's call so you're right. Galatians 6:8 says for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

I agree that, deep down, women want to be pursued, courted, and chosen by that "special one" BUT a woman does NOT have to choose the first man that comes along. Nor does she have to choose ANYONE. But if she does, choose wisely, women --- choose a man with CHARACTER & INTEGRITY --- one who treats you and others with genuine compassion, dignity, and respect, who loves God, and who does the right thing even when no one is watching. Do not settle, women, for anything less than the absolute best that God has for you!!! And make sure your priorities are in line with God's. The good looks, the money, the material things all fade and then what remains if the one you've chosen is an empty soul that doesn't share your spiritual values? Choosing your spouse is a mutual thing and I believe God will put the desire in both peoples' hearts to choose each other. And both people should bathe their choice in much prayer. There are many men who "talk the talk but don't walk the walk" in order to snag a spouse but if you give it time before marrying, you will see a person's true colors and not make a mistake you may regret.

I think it’s important to date at least 3 different people so you know what you like, and what you don’t like. When you’re dating, it’s collecting data, you’re interviewing. You shouldn’t dare saying “I’m looking for my husband.” Because you know that eventually he’s going to show up. I think it’s important to date different people first before going into a exclusive relationship. If you and that Guy and God says you’re meant to be, then go from there and drop the other people.

I've heard 2 thoughts from male youtubers regarding what attracts them to us. 1. One declares a woman must work on her "brain, beauty and brand." 2. The other shared that two things women can control are their weight and their attitude. Being physically appealing (bmi < 26) shows self love and discipline. And our attitude cannot be one of masculinity or negativity: being in control, stubborn, thinking you make better judgments/decisions, telling the man what to do, being constantly defensive- will make him not deal with you. Women also have to put themselves out to be noticed-not only found in church or the house- and once a man actually does take notice, make known through body language that you are indeed interested. Practice reciprocity and receive compliments graciously. Also, let us stop looking for men making six or seven figures if we're not making that amount. Let us stop thinking degrees are what attracts men to us. Men do not really value degrees like we do for them. The more we understand men and how different they are from us, the better off we will be in attracting & keeping a pursuer.

Dear brothers and sisters i greet you in our Lord Jesus Christ Five years ago, I began to engage in faith. I started here in Croatia in the catholic church to visit mass and to read The Holy Scriptures. Very early on, I noticed that what is taught and practiced in the catholic church contradicts the Holy Scriptures and what Jesus taught us. In addition, some things in the Holy Bible were unclear to me and raised additional questions and doubts, such as: - If our God is the God of love and justice, why are we punished for the sins of Adam? Doesn't that contradict the principles of love and justice? An earthly father who is full of faults and weaknesses would not do such a thing, then how can we think such a thing about our Perfect Father? - How can a loving father throw his child forever in the hell? That also contradicts these principles. And besides, in 1 Timothy 2; 3 + 4: "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." So, if this were really so, that in spite of His will, people will be brought forever to hell and not saved, this would mean that He can not enforce His will and thus He is not the omnipotent God, if we follow these doctrines believe. - Why does it say in some passages that Jesus is the Son of God, in others the Son of Man and in others that He and God are one? Although I kept going to the Catholic Mass, at home I no longer practiced the prayers of the catholic church, but started talking like a child to my Father (Matthew 6: 7 + 8 ). After a short while, I got the answer to everything. He guided me through a friend of my mother to the revelations of Bertha Dudde. Now I know that the Bible does not contradict itself. God can not contradict himself. The truth is not in the word, in the letter, but in the understanding, in the interpretation of it. Now I know that Jesus is God and our Father in heaven, and I understand all the processes and contexts, and through this I have come to know that He is the perfect Love and not the strict, punitive God. As he promised us in John 14; 21: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. " 16; 12 + 13: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. " 16; 25: "These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. " In the revelations of Bertha Dudde, His promise was fulfilled, just as every other of His promises was and will be fulfilled, for He never quits (Titus 1: 2) because His word is truth (John 17; 17) and all that will happen is what He said has (Hebrews 10; 23, Ezekiel 12; 25:28, etc.) My loved brothers and sisters, I ask you not to blindly believe me, but as written in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 19-21: " Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. " Before you begin to look, go into prayer and ask our Father Jesus Christ for enlightenment to put you in your heart, whether that's really His word or not. Do not read with your mind or knowledge, but with your heart, for knowledge (knowledge, understanding) puffeth up, love (heart) edifieth (1 Corinthians 8: 1), for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life (2 Corinthians 3: 6). kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHeuY56da7amZq8 My dear brothers and sisters, the situation in Christianity is alarming, frightening and very sad and for that very reason the end is near, the time is up. Only in a very small part are the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5; 22) recognizable, and thus only a very few truly belong to Christ, for only those who enjoy the fruits and grow in them are of his (Romans 8: 9). "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…" Hosea 4; 6 I wish you a blessed day my beloved brothers and sisters, May the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ shine more and more through your heart. I would urge you to listen to the other sermons of this seminar as well. This seminar is of unimaginable value and has changed my life and it can also change your life. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaWyomaGhcuoosk kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3TZi6yQndihsKs kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIuviKyge7iohsk kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5bGXpeiaJuNiZI kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2S0o4CNo8irsNU kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYKXgoqcfJaja8U kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWfNf6Gjqc-bjc0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqObYnljZ9-brLM kzbin.info/www/bejne/b56WiJujnc2flbM kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZfLoqyreJWEpdE kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKmQp4horM6de80 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYXalZinltSDhck kzbin.info/www/bejne/l53FcpKnbqaGh5Y

Pursue in this case is being wrongly used and misinterpreted. Even with the illustration of Ruth and Boaz, she DID pursue him. And if a woman introduces herself to a man out of attraction, there is the start of her own pursuit.

"Chasing a woman" has no biblical basis, and a bit disturbing interpretating scriptures as God "Chasing" after us. That is not right. A man searches for a Wife (Proverbs 18:22), finds her and the two being matured work the relationship together. God does not chase anyone. He is the same, the embodiment of life and its fulness. Our disobedience and wrong independent mindedness gets us away and we have to come to our senses and get back under His covering, etc. We see that in Luke 15 with the prodigal son. Our obedience is love to Him, and scriptures also tells us to draw nigh to Him and He will draw nigh to us, etc. When it comes to relationship and marriage, no example backs any "CHASING of women or a Wife". Abraham, Isaac, Eliezer and Rebecca story, Ruth, Naomi and Boaz story, and maybe Esther and the Kings story. There is no CHASING in all these cases. In all these cases the ladies were smart to position themselves to show interest in a way, the men or messengers (in the case of Isaac and Rebecca) seeing the women after praying, reading their attitudes and character as green light, took steps to make their intentions known and the ladies gave their consent, introduced them to their families, families asked the Ladies for their approval, gave their blessing and the marriage was formalised. CHASING is something modern ladies have created out of some form of position that is not healthy and in some cases bothers insecurity, pride and over estimation of themselves to give an unhealthy impression that seems to suggest they are doing the man a favour, etc. It is all worldly inadequacies and games, nothing of God. So let's not use scriptures to try and justify some funny behaviours and desires.

The Gospel of salvation: 💜💕💜💖💞💜💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,

Unfortunately with the creation of the internet, both genders have reduced courting to sexing strangers. Online is a shopping mall for ppl to find another temporary bed mate. Ppl in person are no better. It's all about, what can I get from you? Money, a baby, a place to live, sex, sex and more sex. I am so disappointed by what our society has morphed into.

Because she did many sermons over seeking Christ vs the desire. And the truth about dating. Christians get caught up in secular practices and miss the entirety of resting in the Lord.
