Nicole, that was me! One of those girls obsessing over the number on the scale and eating barely 1200 calories a day doing tons of cardio. Ya I was super lean but felt like crap and had barely any energy to survive the day. Now I’m working on building my up my strength and calories 💪🏻. Game changer 🙌🏻. My mom is 72 years old. It‘s not a high age these days, I know. she is so weak, doesn’t have any muscles. She has always been too thin.. she wanted to gain, but couldn‘t because of any digestion issue. Seeing her this way motivates me even more to work out. I want to be strong when I‘m older. I love to see the older ppl going to the gym.. it makes my eyes wet, I‘m so happy for the ppl that can still work out. I want to be like that too, when I get older. I‘m 42 now and fitter then when I was in my 20ies. Besides strengh I also want to be able to run. So I try to go running besides the weight lifting. I know, many say you can‘t do both, because you cant get fast, when you have many muscles. Or you cant built muscles when you run a lot. But I want to do both for my health. I think running is good for my heart, and lifting is good for a strong body. I‘m not doing sports for how I look, I do it to be healthy… now and in the futur.

It's been a hot minute since I've checked in with one of your videos. So happy to see you still doing your thing and thriving. I'm still focused in the keto/carnivore space so I had to step away for awhile as not to be triggered by your yummy foods in your videos. I have similar goals to be strong in my old age, but also trying to avoid grains, seed oils and sugar to prevent (or at least not feed) diseases like dementia and cancer, which run in my family. I'm in a good place now as far as being able to watch your content again, but I'm in late perimenopause at 46 and this year especially has been ROUGH staying the course. I am in absolute agreement with everything you are saying about women needing to EAT. I am a volume eater. I don't track so I couldn't tell you how many calories, but I know I couldn't survive on 1200 to 1400 calories. That's not even enough to maintain base metabolism for basic bodily function. I'm so glad you're out here educating ladies about that!! You're as motivational as ever and killing it girl! Looking forward to see what you accomplish in the next six months!!

I fry my green beans. If I am cutting I use spray and add whatever seasoning I want, I mix it up. If calories are up, I use olive oil and balsamic and sliced almonds. Kid approved too. Something about actually frying them tastes better to us.
