I learned about this song from a dear friend, who experienced a radical conversion October 1978. Upon learning that I had anaggressive cancer, surgery was scheduled. On January 21, 2011, as I was being wheeled into surgery, not knowing the outcome other than God would be glorified, no matter whether I lived or died. I softly sang this song. Those around me could hear it, and were trying to sing along with me. Bottom line: God is glorified, he set me free from cancer. No chemotherapy or radiation. The doctor who performed this surgery, put her hand on my cheek, and said, I am going take good care of you. Although, it was a human who spoke these words. I came to believe with all my heart soul and mind, that God was speaking through her. Let's praise the name of Jesus!

My son who's 10 loves this song and singing along to it! And he has quite the voice himself and it just makes my heart smile when i hear him singing his heart out to gospel music!! And i absolutely love this song. Nicole C. Mullen has the most strong beautiful and powerful voice. To God Be The Glory for my life ! In 2006 I was found to have a brain tumor that had been growing about 25 yrs. . I was told without surgery I had about 15 months to live . Because of my faith in God and my family I had the surgery . Its been 14 years and physically a lot of ups and downs but every day I wake up , I say TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!!

I sang " My Redeemer Lives" as my graduation performance after a year of' GOSPEL Music Diploma' course at the Maori Polytech school. I was in my 70's and all the students were teens and early 20's. I shocked them and rocked them. Nicole Mullin is my inspiration. If you get her original video of this, its filmed on the street and a crowd gathers as she sings. Its electric.

I have sung since about 4th grade, when I was in my 20's in North Carolina I sang this song in church. It is a powerful song, it speaks to my heart. I had to sing it with no mike, but God gave my voice strength, praise Him. I have not sung in several years, sometimes you get in a church that does not seem to have room for your talents too. My Redeemer lives was my daughter's favorite,so at her funeral one of her feiends sang it. She had brain cancer but she was ready to go home, all glory goes to God. Thank you Nicole for singing so beautifully.

I will never forget new year's eve 2000-2001. I was very sick. I thought I was going to die. Looking back, I think I may have been close. I was watching TV when the clock struck 12 (midnight) Nicole Mullen's "My Redeemer Lives" was playing on TV. It was the first time I heard it. Considering my illness, and the song, I thought to myself, "What does this year have in store?" 5 months later my 3.5 year old daughter passed away. The inscription on the stone beside her was "I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES"
