oh girl i have an interesting one. my dad is a chemical engineer who ever since i was a kid FORBADE me from using any kind of body wash unless it was a scentless soap and my entire life i've never had problems with back acne or clogged pores or BO (i'm very prone to them esp. on my face). never used a loofah in my entire life (handmade knitted washcloth only babyyy) and because i'm also washing my washcloth at the same time i've never had problems with mold or dirt cuz dad told me that body wash makes it easier for bacteria to cling on to if you don't wash it in a washing machine regularly. BUT overusing antibacterial soap is really dangerous though!! look for handmade bar soaps that has essential oils in them!!

@@jenniferwaidelich642chemicals are in everything, i'd also like that my dad works in the cosmetology and hygiene industry!! niacinamide is amazing for BO and dandruff too but different people have different results with it

Yup! I definitely changed my shower head! I also got one that’s detachable because I need to be able to clean my bathtub and shower good and for it to be easy to wash off! Showering in a clean shower ISSSS important!! And I use an African Net Sponge! Got a white one from tiktok shop and it’s amazing!! Lathers up and exfoliates amazingly! I also love to use Dove’s UNSCENTED body wash for the thorough cleanse, even down there… and THEN I go another round on my body with Olay’s Orchid & Black Currant scented body wash. That one smells so good to me! Also, a good way to take the deodorant off your armpits is with conditioner! After I use a bit of conditioner, I go in with the body wash and it doesn’t leave that nasty residue on you

Ok, I know this is kinda off topic but still in the shower routine!!!!! For curly haired people; Put in shower shelves in the back of your shower for all your curly hair products! That way when you’re done wetting your hair on the daily, & it’s dripping wet, you can add your products right then & there! If you keep your hair towel close, say on the other side of the curtain, you can reach around and grab it and pin up your hair and then do a final rinse on your face & body. 😊

I am constantly change my shower routine products i don't have a favorite i keep everything in rotation i just purchase Nécessaire soap and i love it i love dr bronner castile liquid soap and bar soap i spent so much money on naturium body wash and i have to restock on all of them the only one i have now is glow getter and vitamin C body wash
